Comment:
He makes easy material incomprehensible. I lost all motivation to go to class. His lectures consisted of him reading the powerpoints provided with the textbook verbatim. I basically had to teach myself statistics with the help of my friends who took other professors. He is unapproachable and easily the worst professor I've had at AU.

I bought a text book that I never used. He does not use class time wisely. It is easy to not pay attention and we do our homework during class time. The exams are very difficult because he doesn't speak English well, so he does not define meanings of obscure computer abilities well during class, but we are expected to produce answers on the exam.

worst professor i've had at AU. DO NOT TAKE HIM. he doesn't help. he says things like "lets not waste time answering your questions." you WILL fail EVERY test he gives you (the class average on the last one was a 71 or something). but you'll end up with a B- or C as long as you do all the homework

very difficult to follow his lectures. exams are all multiple choice and test only your memory not understanding. assignments were difficult to follow due to lack of sufficient guidance. if possible avoid this class!

NO ONE comes to class because all he does is read from the book in his thick accent. But don't think that means the class is easy, it was my worst grade in college. Tests are multiple choice about the tiniest details of a computer, TERRIBLE. DONT DO IT. You will learn nothing, an absolute waste of money and horrible on the transcript.

He seems nice but... his grading scheme is really strange; he does not do any test reviews ever; he refuses to put the power point presentations that he reads verbatim from in class on blackboard; he cannot really speak/write English that well and there has been a bit of a language barrier in class. CSC 100 is deceptively hard and BORING

Based on the other comments, I see he hasn't changed in a decade. His accent is superthick and I could never understand a word he was saying. One good thing I can say about him is that he is an enthusiastic teacher. He seems like he truly enjoyed his subject matter.

easily the worst professor i've ever had at AU. he teaches verbatim from the textbook. like half the class attends on a regular basis, and those that do usually read the newspaper or do work for another class. sometimes i feel bad for him that nobody's interested in what he's teaching, but then i remember that he chose to do this. sucks to be him.

HORRIBLE! The worst professor in CAP (Computer Science, Audio Tech, and Physics) and possibly the worst at AU. He should have been fired long ago! His handouts are hand-written, unreadable and class lecture consists of him reading the handouts to us. Poor grading format and projects.

Nice guy and thats about it! I took this class because I thought I would learn something new about computers, but instead I learned how to open my email. What a joke! This class is for people who don't want to work. He doesnt even teach with a computer!

Lectures were reading from handouts, often unintelligible. Did not grade consistently.
