Missed 3 problems on a math test, and she gave me an F on the test. When I asked her how I could have possibly achieved that grade she said each question was worth 15-20 points. I had the right technique and my work was right, but my answer was off by only a few numbers. Dropped my grade from a B+ to a C right before finals week.

HARDEST CLASS I HAVE EVER HAD! She went very fast in class when showing material. Her handwriting on the screen projector isn't very legible. I passed the class with a C- and I'm proud of my grade because of how hard the class was. She says to go to math lab for help but told my partner and I not to go for help with a problem she assigned for hw.

I took College Algebra and Trigonometry in high school and got an A+. It's not a difficult class. But it's required for Gen Ed at UIndy. Mrs. Maxwell made the class so much harder than it should be. She doesn't explain lessons well and her handwriting is barely legible. She takes off points if you don't show work for easy answers and she is rude.

The most difficult teacher I've had by far. Goes way to fast to fully grasp material and is not forgiving if you must miss class. There are NO make up quizzes and if you get to make up a test count your lucky stars! Be prepared to work for it. Would not take her again.

I took Maxwell for Math 150. Her class is difficult in that you actually have to think and work for your grade. Which is tough for some people, clearly everyone who said she was a hard professor. She was there to help in office hours and even was a listening ear once when I was having a bad week. If you show up and do your work, you will pass!

She is very rigid, too strict, not there for the students. uses transparency which is too small and therefore limits her work space. sometimes she will solve problems in her office and just give us the answers in class which makes students very confuse.

She is the worst teacherprofessor I have ever had. She grades ridiculously hard and does not give credit if the work is not done her way. She rolls her eyes if you asks questions and seems to be in a bad mood every single day. DO NOT TAKE HER.

She is not very friendly, and does not go out of her way to be nice. But She was one of the better math teachers I have had. You will have to work hard and attend class. She will help you but only during office hours. If she acts annoyed, its because some students are annoying, as easy as that.

If you take Maxwell's class you will have to study and you will have to do the work. She is available during office hours and is happy to answer questions. If she rolls her eyes in class it is probably because she just answered that question and the person wasn't paying attention or clearly didn't do their assignment.

I have no idea how she is still teaching at this university. She is the worst professor I have EVER had. She is extremely unhelpful and seems annoyed when students dare to ask her questions. PLEASE save yourself the pain and take this class with someone who can actually teach. Not a person in my class of 30 actually liked her.
