She's a very knowledgeable prof, and she's sweet and cool. Extended the final essay by a week. She has a lot of info on her ppts, and its rlly lecture heavy, but the course is so fun!!! One of the best courses and profs I've had, likes to show a lot of videos too

Dr. Iyer is my favorite chem prof by far! She is extremely caring, helpful, & knows her stuff. Her lectures are great & she does examples but, I would still read the textbook and do practice questions as the content is hard. She rushed a bit at the end because we were behind but her exams were very fair. Definitely practice old exams she posts!

She takes her teaching VERY seriously, which makes her a great prof. She makes sure that a concept is understood before moving on. I ended up learning most of the content from the textbook, but the lectures helped to clear up any misunderstandings. Tests are fair; just make sure to do all the practice problems!

Worst prof in the chemistry program at Ryerson. Very unorganized. Spent the first 3 months of class barely teaching new concepts, and then all of a sudden introduced so many 2/3 weeks before the final. Made it really hard to keep up. Go out of your way to avoid this prof.

Forensics is pretty interesting, the prof does lecture notes and shows videos, which are testable. She also tells u to do the multiple choice tests in the textbook and posts the answers. She usually goes over the main points so show up to class and listen to her! Overall, the course will be easy if you put in some effort and the prof is sweet too!

GO TO CLASS!! She may be a little bit overwhelming and fast paced but her examples are exactly on the midterm. She'll even tell you it'll be on the midterm and it will. Don't be stupid like the rest of the class and not show up to class because you'll only hurt your grade if you do.

CHY224 was a content-heavy course, but Dr. Rajeshwari was the reason for the students' success. She had very informative lectures but constantly pointed out what would be on her exams. She was very caring, and had all her lecture notes posted online since the start of the term. One of my all-time favorite professors, and definitely recommend her!

Very disorganized. Would post the lectures a few mins before or after class, forget due dates, tried to cram mechanisms in at the last min, and her written notes were everywhere. Used many different textbooks rather than sticking to the one she assigned us. Teaches very fast and speaks unclearly. Tries to be helpful by offering reviews & office hrs

She repeats everything you need to know & tells everything you need to know. If you don't get at least a 3.0+ you did not show up to class or listened. She is an amazing teacher & knows a lot about forensic science!

Orgo is tough but this professor gives so many examples THAT ACTUALLY END UP ON YOUR EXAMS. Don't miss her review classes before tests or exams because MANY of those exact questions or very very similar will end up on your exam. Go see her if you dont like your mark, she can gives feedback on how you can help yourself and etc

She can be a little bit confusing at times, but she really tries to help you out. She will go over future problems on the midterms or the exam 3 or 4 times. Pay attention and understand what she says and you will do fine. Marks relatively easy as well (as long as you don't DO one of her chemistry pet peeves on a question).

As an elective, the professor could have made it a bit easier. Definitely not a bird course. Lots of material covered. The material CAN be interesting though, that was the upside of this course. Professor Iyer reads off her slides and can be clueless at times. As a professor, she's disorganized. As a person, she's very sweet.
