One of the best profs at IWU---crystal clear lectures, taught without notes !! Professor is demanding, but if one does quizzes and home work, exams are easy and fair. Not a course for whiners and late comers !

One of the most challeging and dedicated professors. Expectations are very clear----home work is a must. The HW shows up on quizzes and that in turn on exams. Those who don't do homework and get help do not do well. Professor is available even late evenings and on weekends. But some students don't want to do the hw and expect miracles.

Boring to listen to in class, and TERRIBLE to get help from outside of class. I actually once set up an appointment to come talk to him outside of class; then, when I arrived at his office, he told me he was busy and said "Go away." Unbelievable.

One of the most challenging professors at IWU. he is extremely helpful and is often available at 11 PM or weekends for walk in help. But don' go in to get answers---expect to be challenged and he will be help you figure things out in ways that boost your long term understanding. he has no tolerance for lazy and whining students.
