Comment:

Ron is one of the best professors in the journalism program hands down. He is very knowledgeable on the subject. His JOU206 class covers a lot of ground and moves at a fast pace, but it is worth it. It is one of the most important classes in the journalism program. He's the southern sweetheart that the North Country needed.

Comment:

Ron is awesome! Best Journalism professor at Plattsburgh. That being said he is a tough grader and will make you work for good grades in his class. However, he tries his best to help all of his students do well, and if you participate and work hard an A is attainable.

Professor Davis is a nice guy and very helpful when you need his advice. He is also very understanding regarding issues with attendance and/or projects. That said he is also one of the toughest graders i've ever encountered and he has a bad habit of being vague with his expectations. He will clarify and help if asked, but not very clear at first.

Ron is the best ever! He's such a sweetheart and does all that he can to help his students out. He was my adviser as well and he's always made me feel like I had what it took to be a journalist, even when I was in doubt. There are quizzes every day, but if you do the readings they're not a problem. Great class and the best teacher to take it with!

He doesn't the teach the class at all! His quizzes are really hard and everyone fails them. He's a nice guy, but that doesn't really matter since he doesn't teach. I had to learn how to do a brochure for the project from a web tutorial because he didn't teach us how. There is no TA to help us out outside of class, either.
