One of my favorite professors! Every class is a great lecture. His tests are based off the study guide he gives you. If you take the time to study and understand what he's teaching, then you'll pass with a good grade. Wish there were more professors like him.

I thoroughly enjoyed coming to this class. I learned a lot of interesting things. Do the extra credit!! It's very easy and it really helps with your final grade, it got me a high B. You don't necessarily need the book but it helps when making the study guide.

AWESOME professor! He's the best psychology professor you'll take and in MVC. He is a solid choice for biological psych. I would not miss class cuz he goes over every answer for study guides which are the same as the exams. Exams are every 2 weeks & it covers 2-3 chapters which make tests easy rather than studying loads of material.

Great professor! I enjoyed all of his lectures he relates it to his and life experiences that help you grasp what the material is about. Hes retiring soon so I highly suggest to take him now! His study guides are identical to tests. Only hard thing was the paradox paper!

The only thing that I would argue with this professor about is that class itself can be filed under something other than being an episodic memory, in nature. When there is so much feeling and inspiration and integration between real life and topics of psychology, it is semantic in nature, to those who feel deeply.

Dr. Gibbs is one of my favorite professors at MVC. His class was interesting to take and it was hardly ever boring. He does use examples to help students achieve a great understanding of the material. In the end, make sure you do the extra credit paper; it is easy and will be good to have at the end of the semester.

You don't really need your book, he goes over every question on the study guide and as long as you pay attention and take notes you will pass. Attendance is everything, he will drop you if you don't show up. The extra credit paper is a must, its not that hard and it can be a life saver. The only thing he grades by is test and the extra credit.

He gives an easy extra credit (Do it!) and one essay. His exams are his lectures, don't waste your money on the book. He gives you the study guides for each exam very early. Answer all of the study guide questions (and maybe even audio record his lecture since he goes pretty fast) and you're sure to pass the class.

Gibbs is great! He uses great examples to help you understand the subject matter. I would say not to miss his classes because a lot of what he says will be applied to the test. great lectures. he doesn't use his powerpoint or write notes on the board much so i recommend using a recorder. he's never boring. you don't use the books much but its useful incase you miss a class or unsure about a topic. STUDY GUIDE IS EVERYTHING!

Professor Gibbs is hands-down my favorite professor I've ever had in my entire college career. I had him for Psych 1 and Psych 33. I wish he taught every psychology class ever. His lectures are extremely funny and memorable and his study guides have EVERYTHING you need for the test. Show up, pay attention, study, and you'll do fine!

This professor is amazing, makes you want to learn more. You don't feel like it is a class, you simply absorb knowledge. He is very funny, gives great examples, and keeps you awake. You need to study to pass, he gives extra credit. His study guide is the best I've had, everything is in the test. I would definitely recommend him, two thumbs way up.
