Sometimes theres a lot of busywork, and NEVER hands stuff back (not sure if he even looks at assignments we hand in?) but is a great teacher and works hard to make sure everyone gets an A (your grade will directly affect the effort you put into the class). Not a hard course but not a blow off either. Also a super fun course, like all of his classes

This guy gets a bad reputation from students who aren't ready for his class. If you aren't ready to do work then don't take his class. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, he is a great professor. Interesting during lecture. Be wary however, it is, by no means, an easy class. Welcome to college.

he's not a high school teacher, the days of people holding your hand and doing things for you are over. If you listen and apply what he says to what you are supposed to have READ you learn a lot more. He expects you to act like an adult and be responsible for knowing the material, and be accountable for when you don't

TERRIBLE!!!!!! He teaches stuff that is completely off topic and has no meaning to what is going on in class. He gets off topic really easily and considers showing youtube videos teaching the class. He's rude, obnoxious, and flips out if you're late when he is late ALL of the time. I learned nothing in this class!

Dr. Edwards is a tough guy to learn from at first. You MUST learn to be analytical and apply concepts. Once you get over that, you are set. He offers a TON of extra credit. He's kind of obnoxious if your mind isn't parallel with his, but overall he is a nice guy, and is always available for help. Good course to take if interested in biology.

You will have anxiety attacks if you take BIO 121. You have to know the text and be able to apply the concepts; he doesn't test memory skills. But if you try and you show him that you are trying then you can pull off a good grade.
