Comment:

Dr. Lees Asian Politics and Government class is very challenging and requires a lot of reading but is rewarding if you prepare properly. If you do you work it is fairly easy and her lectures are not too bad as she tries to make things relatable. Dr. Lee is very funny and the class is interesting if you are into foreign relation courses.

Comment:

Dr. Lee is hilarious and Asian governments is definitely worth taking if you are interested in learning more about eastern culture and politics. It was a challenging class, but it was definitely worth it for all of the laughs and for how much I learned.

If you have a hard time understanding people with heavy accents do NOT take courses with her. Tests grades are what your final grade is based on, 4 tests but only 3 count. Language barrier, likes to try and make jokes but no one laughs. When she ask you questions in lecture and you're wrong she laughs at you! Highly recommend taking course online

Your best option is to find another professor if they offer it. If not take online course. Only take her class as a last resort. She doesn't really teach the class. The power points do. She can't speak very good english. Bad accent. Don't bother buying the textbook, you won't use it at all even though she says you will. Save yourself the money.

She's awesome! She's by far one of the best/ funniest professors I've had so far. She cares about what she is teaching. I honestly took the class as a blow-off that I needed for my degree, but I'm so glad I took it in class.

I really liked her class and teaching style. The tests were tough but not horribly so, you had to read the book to get all of the information, and paying attention was critical as she would sometimes drop important information. She was a pretty funny professor, and she definitely calls you out if you get something wrong, but she's nice about it.

I love this professor! She is very eccentric and animated throughout the lecture. Expect to work for the grade and pay close attention to the lectures. Fair warning- if you answer a question wrong during class expect to be greeted with a loud "Hell no! What you thinkin'?" from the professor. Again, I highly recommend taking her!

She is very very horrible and boring. I'm an A student and the only class I have a B in is hers, I just couldn't focus with her extremely boring lectures.. Extremely rude and doesn't help her students, if there's one thing I regret this semester is having her!

Dr. Lee is anything but normal. She makes class fun and entertaining. She jokes a lot. I would say though be 100% percent certain when answering questions because she will say Nooooo, when you are wrong and the entire class will laugh. The test are super easy, she gives study guide. I went all semester without reading the required readings.

Can not understand her accent especially since the class was in MCOM 281. She speaks softly and only talks loud enough for you to hear when she tells a joke that is not funny.

Very hard to know what's going on in the class. She jumps from one topic to another every five minutes and it's extremely unclear what is relevant and what is just a useless rant. Study guides are pretty unhelpful and it's almost impossible to be prepared for exams. You just have to read the textbook and hope for the best

Lee is a very eccentric old lady, but I found her interesting and entertaining. She does kinda scold kids who ask questions, but her lectures are very informative. Her accent is not bad; I don't know why so many people are complaining. But she does talk a lot and quickly. It's a lot of information but there's a lot to know in politics!

Overall she is a good teacher she is just hard to understand and jumps from topic to topic so you have to pay close attention. She takes extra points randomly for being there so show up. She also has the notes online and its easy to follow along with her if you have that.
