Comment:
The class itself isn't that difficult. You're only graded by 2 exams, and I think 8 lab reports. Easy grading system. He doesn't post powerpoint slides. His lectures are okay i guess, but definitely not the best. Take notes in class, you can use written notes only on exams.

Prof. Lutenegger's a nice enough guy, you just cannot ask stupid questions. He doesn't mind clarifying things for you, but pay attention and go to class. Although attendance isn't mandatory, it will definitely help you on exams. Most of the class was going over what we did or will do in lab, and your group lab reports are a big part of your grade.

Attach all documents like Boring Logs n Site Layout he gave out in reports, otherwise he will deduct alot of points. Select decent group members because you will be doing homeworks and projects together. Expect pop-quizzes for attendance. Read the book, it is more useful and accurate than lectures. Put in the work and you will definitely learn alot

He's all business. He's old school. He's the real deal. He's a brilliant man, but his lectures are not coherent. You have to listen to every word he says and get everything he writes down. He presents a lot of information but it's scrambled. His assignments are rough but they force you to think. Don't skip

Comment:
He's a useless, condescending, arrogant "teacher". Most of his statements start with "you're stupid because..." He'll grade inconsistently; some students just can't win, others skate through. If you're in his class write down everything that starts with "by the way". That stuff's on the test. Fun fact: he's the highest paid professor.

Love this guy. He makes me want to be an engineer. He knows what is important to get done and what is pointless. He hates repeating himself, but I've never had a problem going to his office and asking him for help. I didn't think the homeworks were too bad either.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He doesn't tolerate stupidity, which is hilarious. If you put in effort in this class you'll pass. Only two tests, both open notes/hw/handouts. labs are fun

He's the busiest guy I've ever met, and because of it he doesn't put much effort into the class. He's very smart and can explain things well, but don't see him going out of his way to help you.
