Comment:

I am in my fourth semester in the paralgal program. I have had all the regular professors and some of the "non-staff" professors. Amy is the worst I have had by a large margin. I agree with the below about crazy attendance. She CANNOT stay on point. Does not seem invested in student success at all. Avoid if possible if you can.

Dr. Ma is a fantastic professor. I agree she can come off arrogant at times, and she does brag a little, but she is incredibly knowledgeable and will do anything to help a student if you put in a little extra effort. She is the toughest and most strict in the program, but you will learn from her, which is most important!

Worst professor I’ve had. She is Condescending and Arrogant. The very first class she bragged how she got some law passed that allows law professors to use the Surname of Dr., something like that. She is now referred to as Dr. Amy Ma. If your home and work schedules are tight, do not take her class as she is not flexible.

Comment:

Amys style of teaching is strict and boring. She is unfair; if you're late, you're absent, but can be late herself. Also thinks it's okay to keep you over the time, NEVER will you get out early. Her multiple choice tests have options a-k. She talks about her personal life too much. She doesn't deduct points for late assignments, just gives you a 0.

Comment:

I had Amy Ma for LEX-110 online. I thought she was very helpful, she responded to E-mails very fast. I really like how she teaches her online courses on Moodle versus Blackboard, as I think Moodle is a more user friendly and interactive platform. She also knows a bunch about real estate law. A good instructor from what I could see in LEX-110.

Very good teacher...explains details clearly...Study for tests, sometimes they are tricky...Very good, very thorough with Real Property I.
