Comment:

She's really easy, but make sure you show ALL of your work. Drops your lowest quiz grades. Speaks with a thick New York accent, in my opinion. Make sure you go to class. & also don't just walk out during class because she finds it personally annoying.

She's alright...don't take a morning class if you think you're going to be late...she HATES tardies and especially absenses (6 of each allowed per quarter.) I guess her class is do-able...I worked really hard for the final and brought my grade up to a B. Still, I think Mrs. Moen is better and easier.

she seems nice but not really.She always assumes that everybody can understand her explaination, but if we can, why we are still in the class??? She is not a supportive and helpful teacher.

Blah. Her grading is impossible. Even if you get the correct answer, she will mark it wrong if she does not like your written work. She tries to be tough rather than approachable. Can't stand her, would not recommend her.

I was LOST. and I asked for help, and got nowhere. Plus, when to see grades she was very hard to reach. I dont reccomend taking her, unless you're very strong in math.

She is very good at teaching, and really cares that her students understand the material. She has a likable sense of humor and she kept things interesting. There is a short quiz about every week to keep you motivated, and the exams are doable. Like one of the other reviewers, I wish she taught upper level classes.

She's the best math teacher at DeAnza... very clear, and willing to help if u ask questions. u dont have to turn in HW. i wish she taught more upper level math classes!!

Good teacher, nice, but it's not easy if youre not willing to learn. I honestly did my best. Her grading is unfair. she unfortunately gave me a D. cuz of her i must either repeat math 51 or go on to the next course i can take. I am truly disappointed and heartbroken...

Great lecturer--Very clear and to the point. Highly recommend taking a class with her if you can. Quizzes are quite easy, exams are alright. Follow along in class and review HW, you'll do well.

I took quite a few courses with her, and I had mixed feelings. She's definately better with some subjects than others, but I thought she was very good on the whole. She's also a nice person outside of class.

Easiness is defined by how prepare you as a student are. She is one of the best Math teachers on the planet. I used to flunk math and got a B in 49B and 1A. She is strict but very worth taking her.

Nice teacher, gives great clear lectures/notes, quizes and tests are challenging but questions are very similar to homework problems. She goes strictly by points for grading.
