One of my all-time faves with good reason. Approachable & congenial, yes, but also dedicated. Dedicated profs are rare & should be appreciated. Tells relevant, real-world stories that help drive the material home. Fair grader. You should take his classes while you have the chance, b/c profs like him are few & far between. Bob Nale's the best.

Comment:

Very nice man, but VERY boring class. Attendance is not required but it is really useful to go. Some of the test questions come from the lectures and some only come from the book. Keep up with reading and the chapter quizzes and you will be fine. Make sure you follow directions for article summaries!

Great professor! Very fair and clear about his expectations. Basically if you go to class, jot down the PPT notes, read the chapters and do the assignments you'll do great. It definitely requires work, but again I'll say he extremely fair and also very nice.

Easy class as long as you keep up with the quizzes and chapter assignments. Tests come straight from the notes. Extremely boring, but what can you really do with this boring subject matter.

Great Professor. Has been in the business, so he knows the business. Tries to be funny, sometimes pulls it off. Tests are a bit difficult, but come right from the notes (which sometimes come right from the book). There are a couple little summary papers to do, but only grades on grammar/punctuation..hardly on content. Extra credit opps as well.

Great prof! His writing assignments are not that bad & really only require a little thought & good writing skills. Beyond that, he's not a stickler. He doesn't suffer fools, but is all around a fair guy. He doesn't think he's funny, but does enjoy some humor & occasionally channels John Cleese. Nice man.

Bob Nale's a great prof, a great guy. If you don't think his assignments are relevant, you apparently don't know what's going on...and that's not his fault! He's helpful, easy-going, & accessible. Put in just a little effort, and you'll find the course is not bad at all. And that voice, yeah...I'd rather go listen to him than any other CCU prof.

I love this man. If you're bored, it's the material, not the man. I love the material, but understand a lot might not. Bob Nale's reasonable, fair, and does what he can with a subject some may find dry. FYI: Sexiest voice--he could read me the phonebook & I'd be happy. Adorable man!

Its tough to attend his class everyday, he really tries to keep it fun and entertaining but loses everyone. Has wayy to much work that is completely irrelevant to what your learning at that point...more like extra grades, you have a paper due every week and 4 large papers. True/False are IMPOSSIBLE. nice guy but not a good prof.

Doc Nale is pretty cool. His class is a little boring, but he's a really great guy. Test questions can be tricky, but just print his chapter outlines and you will be fine. Dont waste money on the book.

Nale was alright. he was a nice guy, but just WAY too much work for that class. I spent every day of each week working on getting my work done for that class. Barely had time for other class work. Boring lectures

Taught this section as a special section for seniors. Not bad, although we did not have enough time on the first test. The other tests were not bad and he allows you to use the final to replace your lowest grade.
