I took his class accordance to the reviews that I read before. But I think it's class is not an easy A class. I attended all of the sessions and write my essays on my own and at my best, not copy and paste that many students do. but till now my grade is B. I don't recommend him. He doesn't teach at all and it seems that he doesn't read our essays .

believe me when i tel you EASY A class!! do not take this clas if you are an engl major and need hard work and want to learn something. i barely showed up to class but maintained a B average. there were alot of people who could barely speak engl and he gave every one in the clas a B. laid back class and he was always 30 m in late as well. recommend

If you need English 101 to be taken care of, then take Shwartz's class. It's not borring, plenty of movies, easy texts and easy 3 essays to write. You can skeep a couple of classes, he doesn't care. And he always comes late and dismisses soon. Easy A for those who do the work.

This guy is one of the very best. class is the easiest "A" that youll ever get. alot of students didnt even show up and turned in crappy work yet passed. easy class yet you learn so much. the ideal professor. great personality and movies. absolutely not boring. its an exciting class. you wont regret it. take him or suffer the consequences.

Great teacher. Nice guy too. Very easy to get along with. Essays are graded easy so you can definitely get an A in his class. Unless your criminally lazy! I recommend that you take his class during a summer or winter session as the workload is light. I looked forward to his class as did the majority of the students. Had a party after the final.

I don't recommend him. The movies that he directed were not interesting or creative enough. They put the students to sleep(Bring a pillow)! Some students left the class when he stepped out. He's just as boring as his movies. He's not a fair teacher, he'll give better grades to his pets. If you want an "A", kiss up to him, and compliment his movies!
