Comment:

Amazing. I feel that Catherine should be the model by which other professors at Algonquin model their courses. Very well organized and structured course. The course focuses on some difficult subject matter but her teaching style gives you the ability to take it all in. Definitely need to be on the ball in order to receive a good grade.

Not very good. Does not prepare you for the tests. Claims she always tests hard which is simply saying she doesn't care how you do. Refuses to acknowledge poorly worded or vague questions on tests. 90% on all cisco tests yet 50-70 on her tests.

Catherine is an awesome teacher who is great at explaining complex concepts in a simple way. Even if you show a tiny bit of willingness to learn she will go out of her way to teach you. She's also VERY friendly and approachable. Her tests are hard but if you keep up from day one and do all the assignments/quizzes in time it's a pretty smooth course

I couldn't believe the low rating that this prof has on this site. All I can figure is that she has really improved from when she started. Always asked for questions from the class to make sure we were alright and seemed to know everyones name which is a bonus. Did not have perfect on hand knowledge of material but would research answer and respond

Excellent professor. Always willing to help, and very clear about her expectations for the course. I had her as a lab and theory instructor and was pleased with the commitment she showed to her students.

Great teacher! Clear voice and it carries in the lecture hall. Answers all our questions. Gave me infinite amounts of encouragement! She can be mean but only to those who deserve it. Thanks to her I fully understand Subnetting and VLSM. I look forward to the rest of the semester in her class.

Very hard course skill test keep changing from rip to eirgp to ospf. Cisco changing material every time I take her course very hard to stay on top on it stay away from this course as much as possible!!!!!!!

Quite unreasonable at times and not always very logical. When chanllenged on a point her arguments don't make much sense and she gets quite emotional. Also, needs to stop just reading off the slides. Seems like a nice enough person, just hard to deal with as a prof.
