Comment:

Figured this class would be relatively simple, but this guy makes it too hard. Tests are a terror, the textbook is a must if you want to get a decent grade. Also, it's pointless to go to class because all he does is ramble about pointless stuff that doesn't pertain to the course. All he does is pass rocks around. Overall, I wouldn't take him again.

Attendance is not mandatory but GO TO CLASS! If you don't go then you will not know what is on the test. Most of his lectures are random that don't have anything to do with the class, but sometimes he will through in things that are not in the book and put it on the test.

By far the funniest teacher I've had, if you remember anything from the Earth/Space science class you took in high school you can skim through the book, take notes ,but never read them and sit back and enjoy the days rant. He's also the only man I know to own ugg boots and he looks like a biker. Little known fact he's well known in his field.

Funny guy who loves teaching but goes off on random tangents that he's mad about. He just lectures, no board, no powerpoint, overhead occasionally so take notes and read the chapters THOUROUGHLY! Hard tests and no study guide, but he makes up grades depending on your attendance, attitude, and his favoritism so talk to him after class.

Helpful professor, easy going, its on you to put in the effort, if you're showing up to class and doing the assignment's, you can't fail! Dr. Mason however is not like other professors, he doesn't keep strict attendance policies, but if your NOT putting in the effort, its all on you if you fail and he certainly won't have sympathy for ya!

Love this guy. He is very opinionated and a lot of what he says is just simple common sense stuff that I agree with. He doesn't teach much in his lectures. Tests can be kinda difficult because there are no study guides and he doesn't teach much. So, in order to be successful you need to read the chapters thoroughly.

Amusing, he has some pretty interesting advice for almost anybody. He lectures everyday. Takes almost all his test questions from the book, but rarely covers everything in his lectures. He's a good guy, but I think he's getting kind of lazy on his teaching. Take the class, but read the book. His stories are funny and it's a good life experience.

He's great! He has a different sense of humor and is really into his work. He's very practical and level-headed and doesn't seem to get why everyone is so into technology these days. He says people don't rely on their brains enough. (I agree.) Loved him!!! :)

Nice guy and you cant help but think of him as the redneck version of santa claus. Very knowledgable but tends to get himself off on tangents very easily. DEF read the chapters, because you will have some class notes but not enough to be prepared for a test, so its very much like an independent study.
