Dr. Jackson is very kind and has a wonderful heart. She is one of those music teachers you had in elementary school that you wanted to hug. Her class is easy if you follow Blackboard and the highlights of the text. But it is definitely geared toward children, not adults who will be teaching children. If you are a kid at heart, you will love it.

Very nice and very helpful!!! You do have to do a lesson in front of the class but besides that, not too much work. Test are not bad at all, they come straight form the study guides, and final is online. Overall, i would highly recommend taking her!!!

This class is easy, but it can be a bit boring. We do lots of little kid music activities. The teacher, however, is late to class A LOT, and sometimes she cancels class without telling you in advance. She is the only teacher that teaches this course, so suck it up and get used to her.

She was very unorganized and hard to understand..Very nice, but doesn't make learning music fun for someone like me who has no interest in music at all. If you know a lot about music and already have any experience whatsoever, this class is cake..If you don't already have experience, then..Well, it's still cake. :)

Class was not hard at all. I had hardly any musical background and still pulled an A in the class. You do have to teach a lesson infront of the class, which kind of sucked. It's easier to teach a lesson in front of little ones than it is infront of a class of college students. This class is very easy though!

Pretty much what everyone else said. Her class is an easy A, as long as you do the work. She's nice, and loves to teach, but is just so unorganized. Go into the class knowing you're just going to have to deal with it. Have a good attitude and you'll like the class.

She is a nice person and means well but is very unorganized. She missed class frequently and changed course calendar a lot. It is boring when you have lectures if you aren't into music, but the tests were super easy and not a lot of work. I still managed to get an A, so it wasn't that bad.

She was very nice, BUT Terrible unorganized and never made things clear....you had to do a lot of quess what she wants you to do. It was an aweful experience and I feel like I wasted my money taking the class.

She is very sweet and easy to understand. I really enjoyed her class and would take anything other class she offered. She was having personal problems and had to cancel a couple of classes but that is understandable. I think she is well organized. I would recomend anyone to take this class.
