Comment:

My semester with Dr. McCreary might not be an accurate reflection of her teaching abilities because she was dealing with some personal issues that severely hindered our class's progress. She's extremely smart and helpful, but she was obviously disorganized and irritable as a result of the circumstances at home. She assigns a lot and expects a lot.

Honestly, one of the worse professor's I have ever had for a science course. I'm a political science major and i thought a natural science class wouldn't be too tough. But she makes it so hard. Her powerpoints are endless, she gives no study guides & her final is accumulative. No one knows how to study for her tests. Do NOT take this AWFUL class.

dr mccreary is very nice, especially if you get to know her and just get on her good side. her power points are extremely lengthy and ridiculous but she has a lot of other assignments and free bee gimmie points by doing simple things to make up for it. Everyone averages a d on every test. Don't expect to do super well on tests.

Worst teacher I had ever taken and only class I have ever failed. Did not help me at all even when I came to her multiple times begging for help. DO NOT TAKE HER IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO.. It was my 1st year of college and I did not look on here first. I regret taking her... Failing a class and having no help is one of the worst feelings in the world

Worst chem professor I ever had. Made everything boring and is very dry. She expects everyone to give her credit for the worksheets she makes and is rude about it. Does not help when you do not understand. She refers you right to the text.

This is the worst teacher i've ever had in my life! It is sort of easy to understand the stuff but if you don't study ur screwed and she doesn't teach just flies through power points and confuses everyone worse than they are to begin with.

not good at all. she has no idea, doesn't teach very well if u ask her to explain something again, she doesn't do it. (she only points to the board and says "okey, u do that..!!). she's nice though, she liked me a lot.

she is very helpful in and out of the class. she even offers extra help during the weekends in her house. Her teaching are crystal clear. Her notes are really helpful and clear. I highly recommend her as a chemistry professor.

Comment:

Anyone who fails any of her classes should not be in college. She only yells when people in the class are immature, sleep, and talk loudly. Her classes are basically a rehashing of material learned in high school (especially Nat. Sci. 1). She is a bit cheesy, yet extremely friendly and helpful. I am not a science fan, but I still got As and Bs.

Dr McCleary is a wonderful teacher. She actually care about what she's teaching and about whether her students learn the material. Very helpful and concerned about students. Her tests are simple compared with the Chem 1 stuff I took at WCCC. I highly recommend taking this prof.

Very nice, very helpful, and willing to take time out of her schedule to make sure her students learn the material! Don't just judge her while in class, take the time to get to know her and you will appreciate her a whole lot more. I promise.

I dont know another teacher that puts in the kind of time she does. The material is difficult, and takes more effort to get to know. She wants her students to know the information so she tries to make it as simple as possible w/ worksheets. Prof McCrearys an excellent teacher.
