Kind of a stiff. Doesn't believe in extra credit and takes his job way too seriously when most students just need the class to graduate. He acts like we're all high school students, can be degrading and nasty. Take someone else if you can.

Really great Spanish one class. I found it easy because I had taken Spanish before. He takes things slow and makes sure that you understand what is going on. As long as you do the online homework, you really should do fine on the tests and quizzes.

He's the best. Honestly one of the funniest guys I've ever met and loves telling stories. Says he's only going to teach in Spanish but it's basically 50/50. He's super helpful and never makes you feel bad if you need clarification on something. Presentations sucked but everything else was easy.

Great guy. Tells funny stories. Not a strict grader, and cancels class a couple times a semester. Tells you exactly what to do to get an A.

Nice Guy, rediculous class. Way too much work, hard tests, discussions are terrible. He'll help you but if you're a freshman who's thinking about taking this class think about this: you'll get whatever sp 101 class you want your sophomore year so get an easy teacher and save some elective credits. Take some core class instead.

The class isnt bad at all it goes by very quickly and there isnt much hw (10 sentences a night) review each lesson the night after u do it cuz there is a pop quiz once a week. Tests arent bad and neither is the final. There are in class presentations and class is in spanish but it helps you to learn. I hate spanish and i loved the class

His class is not bad at all to sit through. He is a very easy and funny professor. The only thing is you have a little bit of homework basically everynight, atleast one quiz a week and you do lots of presentations in front of the class.

Although Poulos is hot as hell with a tan he is the hardest spanish teacher i've ever had. Get ready to take about 15 tests and give about 15 presentations. Doesn't clarify things and only speaks in spanish. I know i'll kick ass in the next spanish class but whatever he's hard as hell!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never worked harder in a class in my life, but learned so much that 101 now is a joke. some presentations, groupwork, you will hate the audio part of tests. if you take SP just to get it done with, take someone else. but if you want to learn or this is your major/minor, this is the class
