A good amount of quizzes, but he's so kind with grading. I've gotten questions completely wrong before but he'll still give me full credit for creative thinking. Hardest part is fufilling the 30 tech hours. Don't leave those to the last minute, you won't get them done.

This professor has his head in the clouds. He is trying to make this class way more difficult than it should be for an intro level class. I took it as an elective and really struggled taking his quizzes and his final exam was hard too. Everything is short answer and his lectures are BORING. Don't recommend.

Clayton is really easy but if you plan on paying attention and learning things about Tech, don't take him because you'll slack off and not do well. You have to teach yourself basically. He knows what he's talking about and if you show up and take notes you'll do fine.

Professor is nice n good. Don't take this class if you don't have a lot of time on your hands. You need to do 30 hours workshop. Attend 4 plays + write reading responses. + have 4 quizzez + final. it is fun sometimes but not worth it for just an art requirement. Cuz u need to do alot of work and effort.

Clayton is the bomb dot com. He can be extremely boring sometimes, but his funny moments are totally worth it. I wouldn't recommend taking this class if you just need an arts credit because it involves a lot of work in the scene shop, hanging lights, etc. As a theater major, I really enjoyed it. Great class to take as a freshman theater major.

Austin is a really laid back professor who is very easy to listen to and knows what he is talking about. This class was fairly easy, we had to see two plays both of which have options to be free or very cheap. The assignments were all really easy but time consuming and the quizzes were also easy if you go to class and get notes.

For this class he uses no textbook, just come to class or get notes from a friend, study them and you'll do well in the class. Beware!: there are a lot of production hours you must do and you have to see 4 plays. This is easy for a thr major but if your not one it can be difficult to find the time for all of it. nice guy though. very understanding.

Definitely not an easy grader. I go to every class and watch all the plays and he always gives me a mediocre on every single assignment. His tests are also not easy and ask very picky questions. If you're looking for a fine arts class to take look elsewhere because this one is a waste of your time and will bring down your GPA.

Very easy professor,def. takes little effort to get an A in the class. Just make sure u do all the assignments (which I BS'ed on all of em including the mid and final) n I got an A+.But 5 of my friends were sent to the honors committee and got a D in the class 4 "rewording others papers" so make sure ur stuff sounds very DIFFERENT 4RM ur friends!!!

Thr. 101 with Prof. Austin is very easy. There are 4 quizzes, and no exams. Your grade is based mostly on 10 Assignments, that as long as you do them you get credit. There is also a final project which is easy and 2 plays you must see and write up. Very easy A.

Clayton is a good teacher. 230 is a little bit boring, sometimes, but I'm not a theater major and I enjoyed the class. He expects you to be able to identify types of wood, and he taught class in the dark a couple of times. I got an A+ in the class with almost no effort. Take Clayton if you can!

A few random assignments regarding plays, some of which are performed at the Mason theatre. You do have to go see them (i used wikipedia instead), but don't let that scare you off. The class is easy..he grades easy, and if you can read the book before an exam, you should do fine. He doesn't take attendance so you can leave whenever you want.

Pretty good professor!! Copy the notes he writes down on the board!! They are very helpful for his five quizzes(5pointseach). You have to see three plays and write responses, which is not bad! Quizzes are open book, and some questions appeared on the final!!! Easy A but VERY BORING class!!

i got an A+ in this class, i didn't even realize you could get that. be very detailed in all exam questions. go to every class and you will do great on the final. the paper is easy. prof austin is a great teacher! put effort in the little play you preform.
