Dr. Bolt is one of those teachers that talks a lot and throws the information at you but literally all you have to do is ask. She will not give you a free grade or anything but all you have to do is work. I went to her whenever I had an issue about a grade or anything and she told me what I need to do to get that up. She is great and cares.

Professor Bolt is an excellent teacher. She cares about you learning, but does not make it easy. You have to do the work, and you actually have to apply what you learn. This is not a rote memorization class. The comments about her being demeaning are ridiculous. Snowflakes who can't handle an honest teacher have no business being at The Citadel.

She just throws the information out there and expects everyone to pick up on it. She also moves very quickly. I also asked her many times for help and she always responded "check the videos on citlearn." Unless you teach yourself the whole thing then expect to have a tough time.

I had mixed feelings about her throughout the entire course. She definitely cares and wants her students to succeed however she tends to belittle you for little things like not fully understanding the chapter before she teaches it to you...Nevertheless, from what I have seen/heard, she is the best accounting teacher on campus.

would not give me an extension on a test that i had to take the day after i got back from my classmates funeral, because i did not let her know 24 hours in advance, it was only a few hours less than 24, but my classmate that asked her a few hours before me was allowed to rescedule. withdrew from class.

Despite what others say, she's not that hard, she's not that fair either. If you do the work you'll do well, but that applies to just about everything in life. She doesn't answer questions and she expects you to read before class. Her demeanor helps keep my "friend" up during class.
