Although tough and sometimes confusing, Buna is a dedicated and highly intelligent who truly does appreciate her students. advice: dont rent/buy the physical textbook, use the cenage online and ask to use your laptop in class for it when needed.

I got a B+ and I studied quite a bit. Homework is online. She went over it once in a while. The class experiments are good. Do not use your phone in class, she is very strict. Fair exams and quizzes. Good class overall.

If possible DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. She claims the material is simple until you see the homework and the exams. You'll spend hours studying for the midterm and final and just to have random questions come up that you could have never prepared for. This class will just stress you out and leave you confused, trust me I'm usually a straight A-student.

I highly recommend not taking her class. She is very rude and will call you out on everything. I am a slow learner and like to read over my notes after class. She will call on you for answers and if you don't know the answer she will wait there till you give her the right answer. She is not understanding.

She is by far the worst professor I have ever had. Trust me on this, and I was on top of my class and not lying at all. She is rude, in some way racist, and shouts at you even if you have genuine inquiries. She doesn't care if you express you need help with problems and herself has very poor knowledge of the course materials. Worst.

Dr. Buna works very hard to make Physics fun and clear no matter what class you take. She is also a great advisor, go to her for career advice or for anything you need. Really smart and helpful. Her tests are based on the HW and quizes so do your work. Fair grader.

Awesome professor. Will help you if you ask. Can be very though and unclear at moments. She loves what she is doing which makes it easier to ask for help. Really does look like she has favorites: Make her know you by asking questions and talking to her. For an A you will have to work VERY hard, because Physics in itself is not easy.

Not very nice or approachable, never explains concepts very well, and expects you to know it everything as if you had ultimate physics knowledge. She plays favorites, and rushes through the labs even more than you want to rush out.
