Comment:

Most kind professor you'll ever have. He goes out of his way to help every student. He can get political sometimes so be aware and he also gets off topic often. Class-wise it was pretty easy. Just make sure you write what he puts on the board for the quizzes. Papers are pretty easy. I strongly recommend this man.

Comment:

Professor Hale was one of the nicest professor's I've ever had, I just didn't like his class structure because there was none no rubrics are given for papers so you're never sure if you're writing about the exact thing he wants, he tends to go off topic. Absolutely willing to help boost grades though, he truly cares about each student in his class.

Daryl is the man! He may be the most laid back professor you ever have. He cares about your performance, but he'll also accept late work and will post-pone due dates. I really enjoyed learning more about my religion and I owe it to Daryl for keeping me interested.

Daryl is like fine wine in the sense that he gets better the longer you're in class. PAR404 is an upper level perspective and thus should be treated like any other 400 level class, its gonna require you to put some effort forth. However Daryl, is a stunning man with amazing dog stories who will help you earn the A that you so desire.

Absolutely love Daryl! My favorite professor and class so far. He is so helpful and went out of his way several times to do a study session for the midterm and final exam. Daryl is a brilliant guy and hes pretty funny too. Quizzes and tests are easy if you feel out the study guides. You will get a good grade if you put forth any kind of effort.

Although I dreaded this class everyday, it was not because of Daryl. He made class interesting, but was very difficult for those (like me) with no philosophy background. He was very accessible to students and flexible on due dates. Definitely take him if you have any interest in philosophy.

This is def one of the best teachers that i have ever encountered he totally understands the subject and beleives in what he is teaching... this is very easy to see as the sememster progresses. this class was the highlight of my week and is one of the reasons i now reguarly take a philosophy class with him

I LOVE THIS MAN! he really cares about his students and the classes are so interesting and relevant even if your not a philosophy major. i would recommend him to anyone and you can get by without doing alot of the reading. i got an A.

<3 Dr. Hale! Thought he was kind of strange at first, but turned out to be one of my favorites this semester. Very enthusiastic about his subject. Teaches out of love for it. Respectful to everyone regardless of their opinion. All reading and discussion. Do what you need to do and you'll get an A. I think I'll continue philosophy, thanks to him.

Comment:

The man is a genius. He loves his profession and enjoys taking time out of his schedule to discuss relative issues. His sense of humour really opens up the class, and some of the things he says are wild. I've learned so much from taking his classes and if you love philosophy you must take one of his classes or you'll never become enlightened.

I didn't personally like Hale very much but I can see why a lot of students would enjoy his class. It is simply discussion. I don't feel like I've learned anything, but its interesting and fairly easy, even the honors level. If you like discussions only, you will love this class. Lots of reading too.

He rocks! Needs to really work on the wardrobe, but not the bod. His tests are hard, but fair. You will really learn a lot if you go to class and actually do the reading. Besides, his class was the highlight of my week (funny).
