He is a horrible teacher. Don't take his class if you can avoid it. He jumps around and doesn't even make the tests about what we learned from the power points. He also rambles about things, that are not involving the class. When you go to get help he ignores you and will just walk away.

disorganized. completely lacking in any sort of passion. his quizzes are difficult to study for, and he will grade them inconsistently. he dropped over 75% of my class. i ended up with a B, but i had to fight for points on almost every test. he is out of touch with students, and has been on probation for several semesters already.

He was not a very good professor and was not very good at explaining things. he always bragged about what all he had accomplished but didn't really want to talk about the subject at all. I would not recommend him, go for a different teacher. I went in with a B and got a A- on the final exam but somehow I got a D+ in the end.

BAD. BAD. BAD. He does not go over the content on the quizzes or tests. He brags about having a PhD and won't help you get your degree. I once handed in a lab report and got a C, did the corrections he suggested and turned it back in and got a D. WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!

My first impression was not a good one. I thought he was very intimidating. As long as you read and follow directions, it is an easy A. I notice a lot of people don't want to do anything for themselves in his class.

I just don't understand how grading test on a --20 point grading curve-- is okay. My entire class is lost and we have no idea what are grades are because he wont hand anything back or put grades online. I like Dr.Gordon but this class is impossible and so is he.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER. I am an "A" student and I never missed any of his classes, but he makes it close to impossible to get a good grade. He dropped more than half the class. His test are nothing like his lecture. I met with him TWICE for my lab reports and made his changes and he still gave me a B. Find a diff teacher.

Phew, where to begin, semester started off a little rough, but after more than half the class dropped Dr. G really stepped his game up and made the class understandable. He is very helpful, just grow a pair and ask. Overall, good guy, decent teacher. He cares a lot about this stuff and wants you to know it also.

DO NOT TAKE BIO WITH GORDON!! His fail rate is over 50% of his students. He doesn't explain anything and doesn't tell you where or why you got counted off for points. He just underlines and circles words. He never posts the correct things online like certain data for graphs, so it's impossible to do the assignments.

If you have Gordon drop the class or switch professors. Gordon will not help you at all. He told,"I already have my degree so I dont need to help you!" This is what was said one day during a lab. He will just randomly go off on these topics that have nothing to do with the class. He is a HORRIBLE teacher!!

No ez grade here, be prepared to earn it in this class. No extra credit and quizes are essay and difficult to study for, however I managed an A in the class and I have never had Biology before(I quit HS as a Fresh and got my GED) so if I can do it then you can too just be ready to work for it! Dr. G does care so talk to him & see tutor if needed

i've attended every single class so far, and i'm still completely lost. its especially frustrating. the notes are jumbled, and his tests are hard to study for. i dont recommend his class

Class is way too hard to be a 100 level class. Tests are over random obscure facts that are often not included in the textbook or lecture. Impossible to study for the class. He once said a subject wouldn't be on the test, but it was on the very next one. Avoid class at all costs.
