A brilliant wizard of a human being. He never ceases to inspire me in class & his passion for acting is intoxicating. Very engaging and eager to help his students. He gives you the push you need to be better, but ultimately leaves it up to you to do your best so you have to work for it!Incredible man!

I think all of us on Davids class can say that we wish he'd adopt us. He is a phenomenal silver fox of a professor. By far, I have learned the most from working with David Mold. (He also has dreamy eyes ... and he makes a lot of eye contact.) If you are interested in any form of Theatre - let David teach it to you - your life will change.

Incredible professor and director. I learned more from his acting 101 class than any I've taken since and I've been graduated 5 years now.

Amazing. Don't take him if you're not serious about acting because you're stealing a spot from someone that could learn so much and you will not enjoy this class anyway. He's very insightful, knows how to help individual students, and is very willing to help everyone at any time. His class was the best I've taken at Marymount.

David Mold is by far the best acting teacher I've ever had, at Marymount and in general. He has this fatherly, Atticus Finch quality that makes him a great teacher and quite attractive.

If you take "your craft" as seriously as D. Mold does, you're golden. But if you realize what a complete waste of tuition rollng around on the floor is, and can't pretend that Uta Hagen is scholarly literature, then you are going to see him exactly for what he is, and there's no going back. Don't kid yourself, switch your major before its too late.

Best teacher I have ever had. I truly believe that for an actor at Marymount Manhattan, D. Mold is the best to have for building a solid foundation, especially for your freshman year.

David's teaching method is very effective, but be prepared to work! He knows when you're not holding up your end and he'll call you on it! Nothing gets by him! But nevertheless, it's a fun class and you'll learn a lot.

There are few people that have the ability to effectively teach others how to act and David is one of them. He finds talent in everyone and forces it to surface. He's tough, but "I want to suggest" that you won't find a better professor (human)
