Dr. Myers is a great professor! He is very clear on the grading material and is willing to help! Lots of extra credit opportunities. As long as you show up to every lecture and study the notes from class you will get an A! His lectures are very interesting and easy to understand because he relates them to the real world and gives examples!

Mr. Myers was a great first year professor. Take him if you get him! Reading the book is required for class or he'll call you out on it if you don't know. Gives good advice. Can't say enough about this guy. Just do the work and you'll be fine. Excellent professor!

Pretty easy class if you go regularly. He does do random attendance checks through group assignments. 3 exams (100 pts each) which consist of 50 questions. about 6 homework assignments(10-15 points each) . and 30 points worth of extra credit. Can be confusing but just pay attention. 2nd time having him, I would take him again.

Very easy class. only had 4 exams, each exam is 50 multiple choice questions. gave us a ton of extra credit. had maybe 4 homework assignments that were graded. very good grader. didn't go to class for 2.5 weeks and still did good. he emails you daily on what is due. if you cannot make class and something is due he lets u email it to him .

Dr. Myers was a great guy... lectures are looooooong. Had him tuesday and thursday and he damn near used up the whole period everytime. Attendance isn't mandatory, he just gives like 7 random pop quizzes the whole semester. You could tell when he would give one out. I went to about 30% of the classes, and it was rough. I got a B in the course

Class is very repetative, normally only 3 exams and a final. Not much homework, but when in class you will answer multiple discussion questions. He likes to talk a lot and go into depth with every question. As long as you pay attention do the questions and participate its an easy class.

My second time with Dr. Myers, he's kinda tough but fair with tests and grading. Wants you to read and do homework and then discuss in class. If you want to study and learn, take him, if not don't.

I took Myers last year and this year he was a disappointment. He did not teach really and made us work in groups while he texted. I was expecting a different approach considering his life consists of research. He is a great person and professor, but that was not shown in this course. His test are pretty simple and he gives extra points as well.

I love Dr. Myers, I think he is the sweetest guy ever and although his lectures aren't the most entertaining he makes up for it in other areas. Extremely understanding and considerate and very helpful. I've taken him for multiple crim classes.

This is one of my favorite teachers so far. He's nice and keeps everything simple in his explanations. Minimal work from the book and occasionally calls on random people to answer questions. Tests are easy if you've paid attention in class. I would definitely like to take another class from him.

Makes learning very comprehensible and easy for a person who never took a psych class before. If you come to class and take notes you'll be fine on the exams. Never any homework and we have to write maybe 2 short papers. Definitely take him!!

Comment:

He is very organized almost obsessive/compulsive. Very clear and teaches the subject. A lot of work, but you will learn. Listens to midterm student opinions. if you want to learn, take him. Indrect humor; you have to catch it. Enables to to apply abstract book knowledge.
