Really great at explaining things and really nice. His tests are a little difficult but after you get the style you'll be fine. Pay attention in class and write everything he writes on the board and you'll never have a problem.

Extremely dry notes. Lectures are long, boring, and unentertaining. He gives plenty of examples, but you'll really have to study the notes in order to pass the tests. Not too terrible, just really boring. Nice guy though.

his lectures can be very boring but you need to take good notes. his exams are multiple choice and are pretty easy if you study. we only had 3 exams and he says he takes attendance but doesnt care

I can't if I'm doing well because I enjoy the course or if he is a good professor, but either way I like the class. He provides tons of examples and sample problems to help prepare you for exams. However, his lectures are very long and dull. If you take good notes and pay attention in class, you will pass no problem.

Lectures are long but if you pay attention you'll do fine on the tests. He usually lets you out before the full hour. He curves all the test and takes time to explain each topic. You will have to learn the material but he makes it easy.

Lectures are very clear and straightforward, but mind-numbingly boring. Tests aren't too bad as long as you really study the notes he gives you. Sometimes his teaching style makes it hard to retain info, but material is overall easy enough and he makes it really understandable.

He's a very nice guy but economics was not my thing. DON'T buy the textbook his notes will cover everything on the tests, 3 plus a final. I'm a bio major and I felt it was easy but I still only got a B+ and I thought I did really well on his final. My test grades were 82, 86, and a 93. Just study the notes and you should be fine.

Professor Stanton spoon-fed all of the information we needed to know. Just keep good notes and there will be no suprises on the test (three plus the final). I really did learn plenty and he would try to explain the material using real-life events.

THANK GOD for this man in KSOM! if it weren't for him, i'd still be stuck with Ghosh. lots of notes but you know exactly what to expect on tests..probably the best teacher in the eco dept. DEFINITLEY take him, he's great

You can tell this man does not really want to be there, but he is a very nice guy. NEVER keeps you in class the full hour and fifteen. You know exactly what to study for and what to expect on tests - TAKE HIM and you will get a good grade

EASY if you study the notes. Gives a lot of them, but you NEVER have to read the book. One bad thing is that you are only a number to him. By the end of the semester he still will not know anyone's name. I took him twice and he only knows me to see.
