Comment:

Seemingly eccentric woman with a heart of gold. Dry sense of humor combined with fierce intellectual chops. Doesn't penalize for not speaking in class; places high value on written work. Her text readings are closer-than-close, and achieve a level of purity that is refreshing compared to the P.C. B.S. that reigns supreme at good ol' Happyford.

I'm sorry to report that this is, to no small extent, the class that condemned the English discipline as to be beyond salvation of being a worthwhile expenditure of human effort. An absurd amount of violence was done to texts, with discussions just oozing with pointlessness and irrelevance. Sorry.
