I took it upon myself to weave my own basket! Dr. D was extremely kind throughout this entire class, she would offer to speak to me on the phone if I was ever having a difficult time. AWESOME! She is very friendly, encouraging, and genuine. This course is clearly laid out and organized in order for you to be successful, textbook is forever useful.

I THOUGHT SHE WAS A REALLY GOOD PROFESSOR AND A VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER CLASS. THERE IS A MAJOR ASSIGNMENT DUE AT THE END BUT SHE TRIES TO HAVE YOU WORK ON IT THROUGHOUT THE SEMESTER AND SO ITS PLENTY OF TIME IF YOU DON'T PROCRASTINATE

Figure out what she wants to see and do it. Discussion Boards are more about finding & citing outside sources than real discussions. But if you do it her way, you will succeed. Lectures are unorganized. You have to search lectures, PowerPoint's, the textbook and sometimes the internet for answers. Time consuming but you can get an A & learn a lot.

Had online class, but she was excellent. What she expects is very clear and she gives great feedback & responses to emails regarding anything. Have to watch movies and do film reviews on them and the test are straight forward! Due the readings and work and you will pass. Time consuming work, but I learning a lot!

Tough class. There was a 15 page final paper to do and she didnt mention it in class until 2 weeks before being due. (But read the syllabus, its there.) Lectures are boring. Tests are online but VERY confusing. Shes unorganized, you'll probably feel lost during the semester.

I suggest taking this class in person. There are 4 exams and 2 projects. Most of the stuff from the exams don't even come from the text book, so it's frustrating. The projects are fairly easy but takes time. She offers a lot of extra credit so please take advantage of that.

I thought she was disorganized, but she gives you multiple times to retake each test...and doesnt change the questions on them. It would be pretty hard for someone NOT to get an A in this class. I got an A without tryin too hard.

I think she is an awsome, down to earth, REAL teacher wich is very rare now a days. SHe doesn't care what anyone thinks, is very knowledgable and caring. As far as class work, its by points so its impossible not to get and A.

online class is not greatly organised, tests are difficult because the study guide has NOTHING to do with the test questions. Projects are easy though. Professor will answer the emails if you are patient but marks your independant study score down for it.

Can't believe she still has a job at Palomar. They must be hurting. Most disorganized and lopsided class I have ever taken. Some things that take 5 minutes are worth a lot of points while others that take months are worth very few. NEVER responds to e's.

Do not take her internet class. She assigns a ridiculous amount of work. Her tests are hard as hell. She assigns a lot of reading, but only one or two questions will come from it. She has outlines, but there is way too much info to sift through.
