Hardest class I've ever taken, but Dr. Lightfoot is the greatest professor I've ever had. He's inspired me to pursue a German major. This will be a hard class, but you couldn't ask for a nicer teacher.

Prof. Lightfoot was a great teacher. I learned a great deal from him, but going to his class everyday and the amount of hw we had was exhausting. It's a lot of work. Seriously. But if you wanna learn, I guess it's worth it.

Lots of homework that will take you down a +/- if you don't do it, and his tests are easy to pass but hard to make A's on . . . so if you're concenred about your GPA, take one of the grad students' classes instead. But if you want to learn some German, take Lightfoot.

homework everynight, but i don't think it counts against you too much if you don't do it. if you just show up to class you will do fine on the tests.

Definitely overloads the homework a little. You can still pass the tests without doing the homework but it will count against you. He's a nice guy and is happy to help you if you need it.
