A lot of work and class time doesn't go by fast. You do a lot of useless "busy" work which shouldnt happen in college. Dont take if you dont want to have a lot of work. More then one thing due every single class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFEESOR! Way too much work and preparation for this class. Professor loves to hear his own voice and is just an all around annoying guy. Seriously, unless you plan on marrying WIlliam Shakespeare, do not take this class. I cannot stress how absolutely miserable this class has been.

Took his shakespeare 1 class, awesome guy. He is a very good and knowledgeable teacher. However, it was probably the most work ive had at bentley so far. Community based project and a TON of reading. I learned alot and enjoyed the class though.

Awful awful teacher! Grading on assignments is rediculous and the questions for essays dont make sense. Has very obvious favorites in the class and a psychotic obssession with Shakespeare. Increadibly annoying overall. I suggest that if your not good at english or hate doing tons of unnecessary work, DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!

Honors Expos with embedded service learning. We did grant writing. I loved the class, but a ton of reading and writing. Be interested in community involvement and giving back, and if you're not, fake it. If you work hard and put the effort in, you can get a 4.0

He is a really nice guy, but this class (it was honors, embedded service learning) required a TON of work. Like, two 5-10 page papers a week, plus service learning journals (5 pages). He expects a LOT, but if you try your best, are willing to do his insane amount of work, and take his suggestions, you'll be fine with a 4.0.

Forms of Drama, great topic, but iffy Prof! He expects the best writing in the world. Way too much work, not worth taking this class. He is a very funny guy, but an extreme amount of work.

One of the nicest and more entertaining professors I've had at Bentley. The work for the class is not difficult, just overwhelming at times. You have to do a lot of reading of texts and assignments that require you to go off campus. It can put a squueze on your free time, but he is not a hard professor by any means.

Alot of work! But he is really nice and helpful. He really wants you to learn and take his class seriously. He does not grade... you evaluate yourself. There is A TON of work about an essay a week. But it is worth taking because you learn a lot! He is a really great guy too, gives his students a lot of respect as long as you give him respect.

Be ready for a good amount of work. But if you really want to work on your writing skills he is the professor to take. You will have a lot of writing and reading assignments, but they are interesting. Nothing is graded by him, you give yourself a grade at end of the semester by standards outlined in syllabus

Great professor, he definitely teaches the topic but also brings so much more into class to make it interesting. He offered indiviualized help and had a great review process involving student papers. The workload was a bit heavy for a night class, make sure you have the time as there was a weekly paper, a minor and major project and heavy reading.
