Best prof I've had. She has you act as a character to truly put you in the place of the time and it can be weird sometimes but I really did learn so much. Reading can sometimes be a lot but otherwise just normal college work. She also gives good feedback on your papers and makes you think a lot.

Dr. Wengler was great. She gave short reading assignments and explained things very well. Be prepare to talk and write. You write a lot of papers for her, but they all tie in with the final essays well. She also gives great feedback (if you can read her handwriting) and tells you exactly why you missed points or what you do well on.

Dr. Wengler was extremely flexible and understanding. She was willing to change around the syllabus for the class when we gave feedback that we needed more hands onvisual activities in class to help understand the readings. Easy grader, lovely person, fairly interesting material!

I loved Professor Wengler and hope I get the chance to take her again n the future. She totally believes in her students and it absolutely shows. I really enjoyed her class, especially for not caring for History.

A great professor! You'll enjoy small and large group discussions. Her unit papers are only 5-6 pages in length and respects whatever opinion you have as long as you back it up with evidence. Energetic and always happy to answer questions. You will love her!

Dr Wengler is one of THE best human beings on this planet. She has a genuine interest in her students and that shows. She grades pretty easily and doesn't assign too much homework. A fair amount of reading, but no daily tests on it. She can be a bit liberal at times (nothing more than any other prof--with the exception of S. Mara and some others.)

She is very knoweledgeable and is willing to help and answer questions. She addresses the topics and prepares you well for all the assignments. a plus, it is only papers and allows you to really explain yourself and your thought process instead of memorizing facts. I definitely recommend taking tihs course!

I love the French Revolution but I was often unmotivated to go to her class. She often struggled to keep class moving and hardly ever lectured(but when she did it was great). Your grade consists of 2 papers and a few debates. Class participation a must. She is really nice and will help anytime if you need it.

Very good professor, does a great job explaining what is happening - as there is a lot of content in history classes. Shes very knowledgable, and a "quality" professor. It's not the easiest class there is, but i think her goal is for everyone to learn, and participate. She was also really really nice, and i would encourage those interested.

I had her for Renaissance and it wasn't too bad. But get her in a seminar course and she is horrible. Don't ever expect to learn anything from her. Discussion was absent, at most. It was a waste of time and money to sit in her class and listen to her struggle to make conversation. I do not recommend. She's soft though, easy to get stuff by.

One of the best profs I've had. I think she teaches some women's lib. classes or something to that degree, but it didn't overtake her teaching style. She'll have an emphasis on women, but it's not overtaking. There was a lot of group work and discussion
