Do NOT take this professor! I took his basic macro class and actually FAILED it. I went to the economics tutoring center every week, and visited him in office hours every week also... he was very aware of this and FAILED me anyway. His notes are disorganized and he doesnt use a textbook. NOT RECOMMENDED

He can be a little confusing but he is very straightforward with what is going to be on the tests. He doesn't take attendence and is very laidback. I hardly read the texts and managed to get an A-. I would definitely take him again.

Disregard the moron beneath's comment. Absolutely unclear what was going to be on the tests. He's so boring. He expects you to be an expert on the economy with prior knowledge. He is the hadest grader I have ever seen in my life. NO PARTIAL CREDIT on anything. Weekly quizzes are ridiculously difficult. You are lucky if you get a C in this class.

He is such a sweet old man. He adds personal stories and humor to class. The material is detailed, and he gives regular quizzes, two midterms, and a final, but he is very clear about what he wants. One of the best classes and teachers at Fordham.

Worst prof. ever. Unclear lectures, assumes prior knowledge of ALL subject material and just makes you feel stupid. Work a decent amount for your grade and you will get a B.

Do not get intimidated by what other people say about this professor. If you pay attention in class and attempt his practice problems you will be fine (grades wise) and will learn so much (relevant material). If business and econ. is your thing this is the class to take, one of the best at Fordham.

He is the worst teacher I have had in a long time. He makes material ten times harder than it really is. Also all he talks about is that you should be able to know it enough to explain in to people, but how can we when he can't even explain it to the students? Don't take this class

Undergraduate classes should not be taught with the style of a graduate level course. If you are looking for the challenge of a course that moves at the speed of an M.B.A. class (which he also teaches)- go for it!

Despite the fact that Prof. Diulio seems to have a passion for economics, his lectures are dull. In addition, he assumes that everyone has a background in finance and breezes through material without asking if anyone has questions. Just do the problem sets and read his readings and you'll do fine.

Classtime is sleeptime. He has passion, but very minimal energy, Economics is an intrinsically dry subject and he brings little vivacity into class. But he posts all notes on blackboard - if you read them 2 hours prior to coming to class, you'll get a A-.

He is a pretty good teacher. He jokes around a bit, but the class is basically pretty boring, just him lecturing and writing on the board. He really tries to make you understand though, he's open for questions about any misunderstandings you might have.

gives weekly quizzes, but theyre easy as long as you keep up with the notes and check out his guides on blackboard. sometimes his explanations are unclear, but he makes up for it by being a nice guy and joking around once in a while. recommended.
