This guy is the worst teacher I've had at state by far. He is extremely lazy, while being a ridiculously hard grader. He graded me down on an essay for having words that are too complex...basically just grades you however he wants. No lesson plan whatsoever. Ruined my GPA. If you can avoid him, please do.

Terrible professor. Doesn't lecture on topic. Review sessions for tests are a joke: ask him a question and he'll refuse to answer on grounds of not wanting to get that answer on the test. Only class I felt like not going to. Much of what is on tests he does not go over in class and expects students to study themselves at home. Great waste of money.

Really hard grader on papers and exams. Lectures and lets the students ask questions and discuss different issues that usually have nothing to do with class work. He is not very nice if you correct him, he likes to be right. I advice you not to take him. He is nice but a hard grader.

Propas is a lazy professor. I taught myself the objectives in the course. He has a PhD but he did not show me much. A first grader would have done a better job teaching the course. I regret having Propas as a professor. If you want a lazy professor who grades harshly to make himself loog good then this "professor" is the perfect one for you.

Propas is a very good teacher. Very friendly, very approachable, lectures are absorbing and interesting. The group assignments were admittedly a crock. Only complaint about him is that he tends to mutter when making an aside, leaving everyone not directly in front of him wondering what the hell he's saying. But otherwise a great prof.

For him to lecture on what was read would require an act of God, it seems. Assigns a high volume of reading. The scope of the class seems way to broad as far as subject matter is concerned.

He's kinda boring and still uses those old fashioned projector slides. He just keeps talking and talking about who knows what. His essays and tests are graded by his TA who grades pretty easy, but you need to have nearly perfect grammar on them. Gives great study guides for tests so just go over the study guide and you'll ace the tests.

He rarely follows the book, so I don't read it. It is cool how well he teaches us, never needing to glance at his own notes, or anything. And he is approachable, so if you have a question, he'll answer. And he is always willing to discuss wiht you your grades on essays. Just a note: he hires a guy to grade his papers for him!

Easy don't need to take notes. Answers to essays in book. So you don't need to come to class; only when there are tests. Tests are easy cause he gives us reviews (which has exact same questions as the tests) two weeks beforehand. The bad: new assistant grader is very vicious when it comes to plagiarism. Will check every paper. Also: BORING LECTURE!

Don't really need to go to class except to drop off essays, pick up study guides and essay prompts. He tells you exactly what is going to be on midterms and finals and what to do for essays.I didn't learn anything from him, just read on own to do the work. He has a grader and when he does grade, its pretty harsh. If a self-learner than okay to take

Not a good teacher at all. Does not know how to run classroom lectures. He will tell a student pretty much that their opinion is wrong and they should stop talking(yes, did happen). His grading is all off, he has even stated that he himself does not know how to write, therefore how can he grade on sentence structure and writing style. HE CAN'T! His

make up of class is 4 essays, a midterm, and a final. Grading for essay is very hard...I've never gotten a C on an essay yet until now...argh. Lecture is boring and he goes thru the material too fast w/o telling us where he is referring to. 4 books for this class!!!! 3 more books for the Poli Sci if u r taking it with Dorabji.

This guy is INSANELY hard! Where to begin... 4 books to read yet he doesn't even refer to them at all... lectures? None... it's literally whatever he feels like talking about... grading? If James Madison himself took the class he'd get a C- (at best). Highly disorganized, digression-prone, and utterly disappointing. BEWARE!!!

He is a good History teacher. I enjoyed his class. Lectures were interesting. Although midterm and finals are hard, he gave study guides for students to study for the materials on the exams. All you have to do is read the book and attend the lectures and you should do well on the exams. I have a B for History 15A and 15B because I didn't have time
