He was a really great professor to have for first year. He is clear and really wants everyone to succeed. As long as you participate, JOURNAL (heavily) and explain your ideas and thought process to him you should do well. Always keep an open mind.

Greg is a great professor to have for first year Architecture. I think the best out of the other's offered. Really loves what he does and wants students to succeed. If you do your work, turn it in on time, and participate he will like you. It is hard to make an A but just do good journals and let him know your though process and you will be fine!

AMAZING studio professor, amazing arch professor in general! Excellent for those just beginning in arch...does have a mono tone voice, sometimes speaks softly and has a large vocabulary. he grades hard, but hes influenced me the most at uncc and I truly respect him.

It was such a pleasure to have Snyder as the first semester professor in the CoA. He clearly defines the foundation for a new architecture student. It takes some time to understand his humor; after I was in the studio for a few weeks, I could finally extrapolate jokes from his minimalism conversation. Snyder, is the man!
