Easiest class I ever took. He is Hilarious! WE never went over the textbook he just loved talking about his stocks. Never did in-class assignments just 2 tests and a final I got a B+ and A . He is a Cool guy that just makes you laugh and talk all semester long

he was the best teacher i ever had literally. he has a very funny sense of humor and you really learn a lot. i had his class for psych i learned more in that one class then i ever have. TAKE HIS COURSE! he seems intimidating at first and test might seem hard but he curves A LOT! you will be fine. enjoy the class dont bring feelings in just havefun!

Avoid!Avoid!Avoid professor Ivan Torres at all costs. He brags about his stock investments and covers nothing pertaining to his mid-term and final. I can honestly say Torres waisted my money. It is boring very off topic and cofusing lectures for literally every single class period that literally have nothing to do with the only to tests he gives

While I must agree Dr. Torres tends to stray from the actual lecture at hand, I was in no way bored with his class, and did learn. To pass the tests you must read your textbook, that is the key. If your a "by the book" person, Dr. Torres is not for you. Any questions I've had were answered either in class, email, or in his office, GREAT teacher!

Recommended for those who are easily bored, he is intresting. 90% of class has nothingto do with whats on the tests. His idea of a final was to write about what you learned from each class & personalize it. I would have rather taken a final than written a journal to be read by someone who insisted on wearing a nametag until last day of class.

Took telecourse. Reviews are a waste of time. Just gives a paper with words on it that does not help. Final was awful. Tested on chapters that he did not have listed on syllabus. I even emailed him two times to clarify info. Stated students are only responsible for info listed on syllabus. Not!
