Ms. Griffin is very passionate and very knowledgeable about history. However, she does tend to go off subject and loves to discuss current events, her father, and her travels. You won't take much notes for class. Her exams are take-home and require a lot of writing and research. Overall she is very nice and interesting.

IF you want to hear about politics more than history, this is the class to take. She says she wont respect you if you dont vote, and dont dare tell her. She is very knowledgeable about what she is teaching though. She is VERY DISORGANIZED. Her tests are 10 question essay tests that may end up in 10 page papers, but she grades fairly.

She is AWESOME! I had her class one night a week and she was able to keep me awake and interested all the time. I got an a in her class and didn't even purchase the book

She is more interested in teaching her political beliefs than history. She's usually behind schedule (based on the syllabus) bc she goes off into these rants about politics. She kind of just summarizes the material. You have to read the chapters because you will not know the material from her lectures. Tests are pretty easy though-if you read!

she is so cool. she gets so into what she is teaching you can't help but be interested. She works quick and to the point. She gives you essays for the tests which is basically what you need to study for the tests. not to mention the easy maps on the tests for easy points.

I love her! Honestly if you don't come to class and you don't pay attention, you won't pass but she's easy to pay attention to and she rarely kept class the full 2.5 hours! She gives three tests including the final and one essey per test...that's how I studied for the tests and I made an A in her class! Take her for an easy A!

She brings history to life this was my most enjoyable class. If you pay attention, take note and do the study guides prior to your test you will do well. She mandates knowing the US geography which was helpful for me.

MRS. GRIFFIN IS A VERY GOOD TEACHER WHO KNOWS HER STUFF. THE DOWNSIDE TO HER IS THAT YOU DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO STUDY FOR THE TEST. HER STUDY GUIDE IS OVER EVERTHING SHE TALKS ABOUT. HOWEVER, EVERYTHING DOESN'T SHOW UP ON THE TEST. THAT MAKES IT DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO STUDY.SHE WILL GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ASSIST YOU. BUT THE STUDY GUIDE WILL KILL

She is a very good teacher, and loves to teach history. She keeps you awake in class, because she has an interesting story behind after chapter. The only bad thing that I would say about her class is her study guides are terrible. You might as well study the entire book, than to read her study guide.

She's a great teacher who displays a passion for the subject and an interest in her students. Ms. Griffin is always prepared and her lectures are very entertaining. Although she is highly opinionated, she is respectful of dissenting viewpoints.
