I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Becker! He is very good with communicating and he is passionate about Psych. He made it very clear what needed to be done to pass the class and he offers extra credit as well. He also gives great feed back and real life stories that can be applied to the lessons! 10/10 wish I could take him again!

He is a great teacher who knows his psychology. He will talk about his daughter alot throughout the semester, just listen and he will get back to lecturing about chapter. Show up for review day, do all the extra credit assignments given and you will make an easy A+

Comment:

Mr Becker holds true to stories of his daughter. At first it is very irritating but he uses her for examples in early development. Once he gets into the older ages of development there are less references to his daughter. He will go above and beyond to help his students and if your grade falls, he offers a TON of extra credit to help.

I took his online class and it was pretty tough. His tests and quizzes were pretty hard. Maybe it would have been better to actually be in a classroom setting but I would not recommend him to someone looking for an online class!

Mr. Becker is a kind teacher who wants his students to be comfortable in his class and participate! As long as you listen you will find it easy to pass. Only downside is he tells a ton of stories which take up a lot of classtime so he flies through the slides and it is hard to take notes.

Mr. Becker isn't a bad teacher, he's actually quite nice, but he tends to wander off the material and talk about himself, his experiences, his daughter, etc. We'll usually make it through maybe five PowerPoint slides a class session. He also has his own APA style specific to him that you will have to learn for the several papers you need to write.

So, I have taken all of my Psych classes online and they were so easy, but this guy is a JOKE. He expects so much out of you and is so picky about the work you turn in. I took him for Summer Extended and it was a huge mistake. I would never take him again. He is a tough grader and is not very understanding if you have to work and go to school.

Lectures are online course snapshots and are very helpful. Had Becker for both 201 and 203 and he is an amazing teacher. The in-class activities are very useful and the class is very well put together. All that being said, his exams and lab reports are TOUGH but is very nice about partial credit. Overall, great professor.

This Teacher is one of PTC's Best !!! I love this man, he teaches Great he gives lots on Examples so that you can Understand it. He does a Review right before the Test, So please Take Advantage of this by Writing it down or recording on your Ph. or Tape recorder. He works very well with his Students.

He tells more stories about his life then he teaches. Gave a lot of online assignments (even though it was not an online class) and was very unclear about when they were due and when they were posted. Changed the slides so fast it was almost impossible to take notes. Skipped around a lot from topic to topic making it hard to understand him.

Took online Ab Psych & Statistics on campus w/him. BOTH were challenging courses. DONT take Becker if you want a slack off,easy class. Take him if you want to work hard & learn alot. I got A's in both classes but I had to work for it, which I enjoyed the challenge. Beware-you can't miss a day of class with him. Very interesting teacher & material!

I took this as an elective because I have enjoyed my other Psych classes. this one was hard. The quizzes were really hard and difficult to find in the textbook. There are two papers due thru out the year but alot is required for them. I will be luck y to get out of this class with a passing "D". Difficult class.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. Took 3 Psych classes and Behav.Stats from him and it was awesome.He is clear & knows what he is talking about.I always suggest him for anyone.I really have a lot of respect and appreciation for him.He will go above and beyond to help you if you do your work and talk to him.AMAZING!
