Professor Haischer, while a nice woman, she is a horrid professor. If you want a class that is rushed, nothing is ever fully explained, you learn literally nothing because you´re so confused the whole time, hw is nothing like tests, with a professor who gets easily frustrated with confused students then this is the class for you.

It was a bit hard. But you don't need the textbook. she gives you a copy of the tests to practice and then you retake it in class.

There is no textbook. Uses sparse and unclear "notes" instead. Study guides almost useless, and there is no homework (no practice for you!). Lectures blow by the material far too fast and are punctuated with conspiracy theories and political rhetoric. Talks down to you if you try to ask questions, not that I can even figure out what needs asking.

tests are online but doesn't correspond to the lectures and notes.. you're basically graded off of the online exams, one paper, participation, and one class activity. Heavy grader on the final paper, I received an F for being "unorganized" in thought. Very vague in instructions and details. The exams, you only get two tries. I do NOT recommend..

I took Professor Haischer for microeconomics. She is a pleasant lady but in her lectures she tends to get off topic about political propaganda. All of her testing is online she says that they are open book but her quizzes never seem to match the study guide or notes. I would say for the most part she is scatterbrained. I would not recommend.

Haischer forgets that students are paying to take this class. Extremely condescending in the approach with students. Lectures are chocked full of ridiculous political propaganda. Not sure what value Haischer brings to PSC.

highly charged in her political views, do NOT take this class unless you are okay with daily rants, talk of past life experiences *holocaust experience from a previous life more like it* and although the class is easy, the credibility is null and void on her stories. easy homework, easy to follow, but poor in holding to the course without rants.

Says that she doesn't give busy work, but only uses 4 discussions out of all the ones you do in your final grade. Has groups of assignments due all at once on MyEconLab, 15 question homework and a quiz for each chapter. The homework isn't bad, but the quizzes are usually only 3-5 questions and you can only take them twice. Not that bad of a class.

He's one of the most unorganized professor I've ever had. At the beginning of the class he had uploaded the wrong class to Pearson so we started the class almost a week late. Also the syllabus was for the wrong class so nothing in it was accurate. Even after emailing him about it nothing changed so you mostly had to guess about what was expected.

This class isn't very structured and it's hard to follow. No book required, but his PP lectures are long and unclear. One assignment due a week, in the form of a discussion, not difficult. No hw assignments, no quizzes. Struggled on the unit tests, no study guides. Theres a paper due mid term. Professor is hilarious, but not very helpful.

I really enjoyed the course. He seemed to make jokes at times, but they did not translate in written form well. Weekly discussions and all work was online through Pearson. He was flexible when there were issues with Pearson and adjusted a couple due dates to account for that. He was helpful with resolving issues at the beginning of the course also

COMPLETE EASY A. Participation isn't required but he does bump you up if you're one point away and you've been in attendance, i think it was, 75% of the time. Tests are based off the PPTs that are online and so is the final. Just go to class a few times, he's not too bad. Funny at times.

Haischer is an interesting professor. He has an atypical perspective on life that makes you question his sanity. On the flip side, he's enjoyable to listen to and have discussion with. You won't do much work in his class, but be cautious of his tests. They are hard, even with the study guides. There's one paper (easy) and he gives extra credit.

I didn't understand anything in his class and I'm an A student. He doesn't clarify anything and expects you to know everything. He gets off topic easily. He loves to talk about vodka rather than talk about the class. If you decide to take macroeconomics, avoid him as a teacher. I may have passed his class but his tests are ridiculous.

Take the online class. Save a trip to school. His lectures are on PAL. In my opinion, if you don't have any background in Economics, you will not do well on his discussions. He gives you his feedback on discussions. Liked his class.

Haischer has long lectures that are very boring but he tries to relate them to real life scenarios. He''s a bit corny and thinks highly of himself which is not necessarily a bad thing but can be a little over the top. If you take the test make sure you have a friend in the class if you catch my drift All online. Paper was awful but passable.

Easy A. Get 2 chances taking tests, on your second attempt your grade will improve and final is optional. No textbook needed, just read the slides carefully. Recommend taking this as a live class, attendance might help you out in the long run. You will learn a lot in the game run. DO NOT FEAR

Well the professor has made some changes because the tests are different tests and they are limited time. The notes are almost as big as a book. I am disappointed how horrible this class notes were put together. Would not take him. He is a nice person and know economics but teaching is a different thing all together! He's changed everything
