This class was pretty simple. Professor Jarvis definitely shows interest in the subject material and is willing to work with students. She assigned a decent amount of homework and staying on top of it was important. I needed a tutor for her class.

Professor Jarvis is very hyper & might leave you behind. If math is your thing you won't have a problem. If you struggle with math I would suggest to always ask questions & pay attention or you can get lost! She really loves math so she can get carried away & forget to clarify or explain things. Her tests aren't that bad as long as you study.

Very cool teacher, pay attention in class and ask questions or else you will get left behind (but thats how any math course goes). She assigns a lot of homework. She lets you use note cards on tests! and homework on quizes! Whats not to like!

shes a really good teacher explaing things but then when you try to do your homework its really hard and her tests are really hard but shes always there if you need help i love her class they were so much fun she even did jumping jaxs during an exam to amuse us it was great!

I thought she was a terrible professor. You could spend hours on her homework, and still do horribly on her almost impossible tests. In addition, we had two major projects to do that took hours to complete, and were only a miniscule portion of our grade.

Good teacher,but ask questions... she kind of does the "If you don't ask questions then I think you understand method of teaching." Most of the test stuff comes from the notes but especially the homework... SO DO THE HOMEWORK

the course seems to be easy, its learning how to teach math. honestly the tests were the most difficult math test ive taken. very subjective grading and she is very vague on test materials. also projects are long and tedious and worth little of your grade
