Comment:

Very nice man who teaches a very boring subject. He tries his best to keep class as interesting as possible. Everything he says in class is pretty much word for word on the exams. However for a professor who teaches psychometrics, I wouldn't say his test construction is great, the exams can be difficult.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! It's incredibly boring. He can be a nice guy, but is very unhelpful in terms of exams. The exams are only difficult because he puts only 30 questions on - you get an A- just by getting 2 questions wrong. This is ironic since the class he lectures on is about the importance of making a reliable and valid test. Thumbs down!

Lectures are presented in a very clear manner, but tests were extremely tricky and will challenge how well you think you really know the material. He is actually teaching out of a different psychometrics textbook than the one he assigns, but you will still get through the course if you read it carefully and study the lectures.

he is a very nice guy and he is very approachable and is a great professor. however the topic was extremely boring and sometimes it was confusing bc there were so many tests that were mentioned in the textbook. the textbook is very expensive-$107.35!!!!halperin is a nice guy but the topic will put u to sleep.he does try his best to make ppl pass.
