Ok do not listen to these people who say they did not have to go to class to pass. If you do not go to class you will end up like the other 10 people in my class who dropped .I spent 6+hours a week on homework or test review. Judging by others reactions when they got their tests back I would say only a few made an A for the class.I almost did

This class is tough so you need to be really prepared to carry your weight. I did rather well because I went to class every day and did all homework/reviews before the test was given. He does an excellent job teaching the material. If you miss class you'll feel the consequences. Once you can do the review with no help, you're good for the tests.

Mr. Martin was a very good teacher! he got straight to the point and gave plenty of bonus points on tests. i didnt even go to class and i passed. always go to the review the day before the test though, he is very helpful.

I thought he was going to be a great teacher, but the class was only an hour long and by the time he would go over all the material class would be over, so there was not time for questions. I have a full time job and a full time schedule so I did not have time to go to his office to get help. He gave four test and a final. Not cool I needed homwork

I had him for college algebra, and I thought that he was a good teacher. If you studied for the test for like 2 or 3 hours and you do the homework assignments online you will do great. I just printed out copies of the pretest multiple times and took those which helped a lot for the test. I am about to take him for Trigonometry.

One of my favorite professor's. He's a great teacher, just go to class, dont be that annoying freshmen that has to text every 3 minutes. and dont be dumb. If you cant pass any of Martin's classes then you shouldnt be in school, go flip burgers.

I assume they only keep teachers like this because they have to. Or, at least I hope. I have never struggled with Math until I took his class. He is a very very boring teacher and not helpful at all. I hope he retires soon for the sake of others.

One of the most boring teachers I have ever had! Gets extremely aggravated with talkers,sleepers, and cell phones. Misses steps and loves to FACTOR everything! Test are straigt from his review day and are only 20 to 25 questions!

Was not very clear during class and explained things poorly. Often acted annoyed and was rude when asked to explain something further - and usually wouldn't do it anyway. Dropping his class was one of the best decisions I've made in my last 2 years of college!

You almost need to be a math major to make sense of his explanations and he bristles when asked to help; he once called me "flippant" for asking to explain a method I hadn't had much experience with. Despite his prickly personality, the class was neither easy nor hard, and I managed to get a B for my troubles.

I like his class okay, but when I haven't had enough sleep... it is VERY hard to stay awake. He gets very upset at students if they leave early, etc. If you bring your cell phone, be SURE to turn it OFF... not just on vibrate... trust me! But overall I would take his class again.

i'm still taking this class, the material is a little involved, but he is usuallly very willing to go over any part that you don't understand.. if you don't get something stay after class or go to his office & he will go through it all with you. His lectures are very dry, but he knows what he is doning.

Best math teacher i've ever had!!! ever, and this is comeing from someone that has to take classes twice before finally passing. i passed 1st time with a high B, excellent teacher, is always in his office waiting to help his students, my mom took him too, he loved him. will find other ways to teach if it help each individual student, he cares!
