She knows a lot about what she teaches and her lectures are actually interesting. However, you will find yourself listening to boring presentations and watching lame movies 1/3 of the class. That was such a waste of time and energy, but you have to be there since she takes attendance everyday(even though she didn't show up for 3 class sessions).

She's wondeful, if a little scatter-brained. She really gives you the benefit of the doubt, but isn't a pushover. If you try hard, participate, and come to class prepared -- regardless of what class you take with her -- you'll do fine. I've taken 3 classes with her and would take another one if I could. One of the best teachers I've ever had.

I liked her. Her quizes are hard, but even though she claims they will be pop quizes, she will tell you when they are. Know your textbook and you shouldn't have a problem. Her exams are beasts, but she does a good review session. Ask her for help, she's always willing.

Yea she's ok... I'll vouch for the fact that you don't need to really do the readings- just take good notes. Tests were easy. I didn't like that she kept insisting my opinions in that class were wrong... So if you tend to make strong, heated claims, don't be surprised if she dismisses them... She's the lesser of the evils- take her if you need POL.

This is a pretty interesting class. I'm not advocating slacking off, but I will say that you don't even have to go over the assigned reading much because she goes over it fully the next day. It's an interesting, discussion-based class, but, unfortunately, like pretty much any other college politics course, it's incredibly liberal-biased.
