Prof O'Callaghan is honestly a pretty chill dude, lectures can kinda drag on but the tests are easy enough, just go to class and actually take notes. 3 MC tests, a news report, a paper, and essay-type final. He posts the power points but reading the textbook is important too imo bc he can't get to every little thing. Overall, great experience

genuinely good guy. but only way of studying is writing down key parts from discussion in class and taking notes from textbook. he doesn't give study guides or put emphasis on what to study which makes it hard to know whats on each test. theres 3 tests an essay and news report.

Professor O'Callaghan is a good professor and a great person. His lectures are a little boring and long. But he lets you get a portion of your notes on you tests. This obviously helps because test grades are the majority of your grade.

Great Professor in general, the only thing is that his class very tests heavy so there is not a lot of room for error. Tests tend to be a little difficult if you don't take good notes or listen well in class. He always makes himself available for students.

He's an awesome professor and person in general. He's the Associate Dean of Arts & Sciences, and probably still the easiest person to talk to. He genuinely cares about his students success and will do his best to help you understand something. Would DEFINITELY take more classes with him. Wish he was my advisor.

Jerry O'Call is an amazing teacher. Criminal Justice System with him was one of the most interesting classes I took at Cortland!
