Comment:

Took Mr. Cole for creative writing I. As someone who got extremely behind, trust me when I say if you fail this class, it's your own fault. I turned in work extremely late and some (the peer critiques, the only thing I loathed about this class) not at all. I made it out with a high B despite receiving 0's on 2 critiques and only doing half of 1.

I met him in person and he is such a funny, nice person! I really am enjoying his class. The only thing is, he hasnt given anyone a grade on ANYTHING yet and its over half way through the semester. But I would still recommend taking him.

Dean Cole is a great dean and teacher. I took him for creative writing 1 and 2 and for publications. He cares alot about his students and writing. He tries to make the class fun. A really great experience. Everybody should take a class from him if they are at PT.

If you go to Pulaski Tech, you have to have a class from this guy. Not only is he entertaining, but he gets you to think. His class is the most refreshing class I have had in college.

Best teacher ever! I took him for online Creative Writing I. He is VERY active in the class and posts assignments several times a week. He gives you plenty of time to complete assignments and really encourages you to be active within your classroom community. Work hard, have a genuine interest in writing, and you'll get an A. NOT an easy A.

I am taking Professor Cole online. I haven't had a online teacher like him before. Hes great. He is on there all the time. Always helpful. He seem to really want to make it like a real class. He has videos of him talking about writing like he were in class. You just got to log on a lot or you can get lost, he only posts to the discussion area.

Mr. Cole is the best teacher I have ever had. I learned more from his class than I've learned in all my college classes up to this point combined. His "Little Mermaid" narrative structure lecture is dead on. Attendence is important, but with him I can't imagine wanting to skip a class. If you get a chance, take his class!

Joey is AWESOME!! I had him for Creative Writing. Not the class or instructor for you if you crave structure, but it's super fun and you learn a lot. The workshop format can be a little intimidating at first, but it's actually not so bad and it'll definitely help make you a better writer.

I agree with many of these posts. He really, really loves teaching. He loves the subject. He is one of the best teachers, if not THE best teacher, at PTC. His classes are always "must see" because it is so entertaining and engaging. I had to miss one class and found myself missing it! Do yourself a favor and take him for a class if you can.
