Comment:

He is the best (not one of) teacher I've ever met. He loves students and willing to walk the extra mile and extremely familiar with simulation using Aspen. He get students down to the nitty-gritty of substance. Super hilarious and amiable which explains why he's always surrounded by students. Course useful for jobs.

Comment:

I took Dr. Gossage for thermo 1. He goes really fast during lectures so I kind of gave up keeping up with him. I made an A and didn't find the class too hard. Do you homework and make sure you understand how to solve the questions. Also do the questions from the PowerPoints. He grades on a z-score. If you do the hw/pp questions youll get an A.

Great teacher, knows his stuff. For thermodynamics, he's okay, but that's the only class he can't really teach. Heard many great things for him in other classes. Might just be thermodynamics doesn't fit his style.

Since the CAMS class is only held once a week, it's very important to not miss any classes. This professor is good at explaining things, and walks the class through literally everything in the class. Just show up and do the work alongside the rest of the class.

Comment:

I have only taken him for a computer modelling class, which could have been very confusing. Usually, the last hour of class was dedicated to letting the students work and ask questions, he even stayed after class. My only gripe about him is that he only teaches one other class unless you are a graduate student. My favorite professor by far.

Definitely one of my favorite professors at Lamar. He has a great sense of humor and he is very nerdy. That's a good thing. He explains things well and his class lectures are utterly comprehensive. You should have no trouble in his class if you pay attention and take good notes.
