Ken is hilarious. He is so helpful and really wants his students to well. I am an english major and usually never go to class but I attended all his classes. He makes the most boring classes and subject matter interesting. I love him! He gives re-writes for essays and bonus quizzes usually too. He is actually a somewhat easy marker.

Best English professor I ever had! Hilarious, entertaining, intelligent, wonderful!! One of the harder markers, but such a good teacher you curse yourself when you have to miss a class. If you are taking English courses, be sure to take one from him. And future teachers: This is a man you should base your teaching style on.

Great professor, and one of the best at Grenfell. His lectures are very interesting and he gives students all of his notes. Be sure to take advantage of that and study ALL of the notes that Dr. Jacobsen provides because it's all information you need to know.

He's a nice guy, but seems to expect you to have a lot of previous knowledge on the subject of Shakespeare and Theatre. He REALLY caters specifically to Theatre students. Not too bad for grading, but he's very picky about the format of the essays you pass to him, for God's sake, read his guidelines carefully!
