Hard class to stay awake for/make yourself go to. Very nice professor, and very interested in the information he is teaching. His lectures are very boring, but if you are interested in history it is probably not that bad. Not an overly challenging course-if you actually put in the study time & attend the lectures.

Talks exactly like a Textbook(boring).He knows his stuff though. Take really good notes and also read text. His study sheet for exams DON'T help, it just sends you out to read the chapters in text. exams cover his lectures & text-extra credit opp only on exams. 3 exams 1 paper final(exam 3) not cumulative. No quizzes.

I had Dr. Kessenides for two classes in a semester. He knows what he's talking about and clearly enjoys the material. If you ask him to clarify something, he has no issue doing so. The lower-level class was easy (to be expected) the upper level more difficult (again, to be expected). If you're not understanding something, ask!

Class was not hard, if you actually go and read the book. The hardest part is reading the chapters assigned because its kinda long. There is a 6 page paper, not that big of a deal, i don't find myself a grat writer and I got a B on it. Easy exams. Have to write an essay for exam. The only thing is: its totally boring! But good class I think!

Nice guy, means well, likes to help students. Lectures and classes are very boring and repetitive. It's so hard to pay attention they are useless when taking tests. Read the book and show up for quizzes.

He talks the whole time. At first its easy to listen to but it gets boring after a while. Dont mind his lectures though. Easy class if you read the book. Which isnt very hard. Come on guys....stop complaining about easy work. No pop quizes.

Dr. Kessenides is a good teacher shows interest in what he is talking about....Theory is an upper level history so you should be a history major....also has a mid term and a final that he tells you whats on it....The only other this is a 10 page research paper!!! NO quizes!

Very interesting, energetic professor. He does take time to help you outside of class, and gives plenty of extra credit on the quizzes. Very professional and approachable. Had him for two classes; always leads good discussions and takes the time to learn everyone's name so you're not just another body in the class. Study hard for the tests.

Biggest Jerk I have ever met. He degraded me in his office by saying I was the worste writter ever, that I need serious help. I started to cry but he could care less. I found out later I was not the only student in the class he said this too. He only cares about himself, Lectures are interesting though.
