Comment:

If you value your time, money, and GPA then do NOT take this man. Worst mistake I have ever made. Put off graduating if you have to, just don't take him. Taught myself everything. The tests are completely different from everything he goes over. He never answers emails or direct questions properly. Enjoys his irrelevant stories more than teaching.

Worst teacher ever!!! Run for your life and do not take this class. I aced every homework and then failed each test. It was so bad students would cheat on the test just to pass the class. I have never in my life have a worse teacher. I had to report him to the dean because he does not teach at all.

Comment:

Run! Run away as fast as you can! 80% of the grade is on exams and if you mess up one, you are out of the game. If you especially prefer learning everything by yourself and have extra $900, ignore what I said. The class is so boring that less than 50% of the students registered attend. He always says the homework is useful for exams, but not at all!

Comment:

You are better off having Google and Youtube teach you the material. As Troy gets more expensive every year, his class is not worth the 900+ dollars you have to pay. I have taken tough professors and passed, but Dr. Fogelberg lacks the abilities to teach the material to an entry level finance class. He should stick to grad students.

This is the worst instructor that I have ever had. Does not explain anything at all. Whats on the exams is nothing close to what he had us do leading up to the exams. He barely responds to emails and when he does they are so vague that its a guessing game. I will never take a class of his again.

Do not take his class. He was unresponsive to emails and discussion boards. He refused to provide clarification to problems when asked by multiple students. His tests were extremely long and had very little to do with homework assignments or lectures. He often said one thing and did another. He is very disorganized. He was of no help at all.

Run as fast as you can from this professor. This was a very difficult class and was made a hundred times harder by Dr. Fogelberg. He does not explain the problems very well and does not answers emails. He uses an older version of the textbook than what's advertised on school website. Wait for the next semester for another professor.

I will never take him again! This was the worst class I have ever taken. Not helpful whatsoever. Responses are very vague- and that's if you even get a response. He seemed more disengaged with the course than the students. The material itself wasn't even that bad but when there is a lack of direction, it makes it that much worse!

Barely a professor, his class is basically a timed correspondence class. You take tests and do homework all online. If he decides to answer your question when you run into problems with the material, you are likely to get the wrong advice and a pithy response.

This professor tells you one thing and does the opposite. He does his calculations in excel instead of showing you on the board. He spends class telling stories instead. You have to teach yourself. I do not recommend this teacher.

Much like with Dr. Bibbins and FIN 3331, I wasn't looking forward to Dr. Fogelberg and FIN 3332. However, he and the course were easy enough. FIN 3332 isn't any more difficult than FIN 3331. These (FIN 3331 & 3332) are probably the hardest classes in the Bus. Admin. Core, but they're not bad if you pay attention and do ALL homework. Pretty easy A.

His teaching method is all over the place. He does most of his problems in excel where the calculations are automatically done and he doesn't go back to tell us how he gets the answers. The tests are VERY hard and you must read the book. His grading method my seem great at first (he adds 5 point to the grade, for example 75 = B) but it isn't.

The worst teacher ever!!! I had him for two different classes in the same day and he talked about the same thing in both classes. Majority of the time the stuff he talks about in classes is wrong. Read the book word for word if you want to pass.

he is the worst instructor in Troy Campus. i was wondering how he got his doctoral degree. i do not understand how Troy Faculty still keep him. his teaching is a nightmare. it is better to study the whole book at home than go to his class. waste of time. what he tries to teach and what he asks in exams totally absurd.dont take from him

He doesn't teach! you walk in and the guy quizes you on something you've never seen before, then attempts to teach you how to do it! exams are nothing like what he says they will be and the class is so ridiculously boring!!! I made a D and I'm an A or B average student.
