He never teaches anything you need to learn. Be ready to teach yourself everything related to this class. He is SUPER boring and he never stays on topic. He's handwriting is HORRIBLE. I would never take a class with him. He needs to retire and just go on trips.

Knowledgeable about economics, but not a great teacher. Vague grading criteria. I don't really feel I learned a lot in his class; kind of self-taught by reading. Tests and assignments are pretty easy though-straight out of the textbook. Take him if you need to boost your grade.

Prof. Lewis, like many teachers, is overpaid and under-worked. Going to get an A or a B in the class depending on how I do on the final exam, but overall I feel he has taught me very little. His lectures are repetitive and often off topic. Almost certain he does no preparation at all before lecture. Needs to go back to the South IMO

This guy doesn't teach economics, he He tells you his life stories about his travels and marriage. Tests are extremely difficult but there is like a 15 or 20 percent curve on every test so everyone doesn't fail. Online quizzes have 2 attempts so it's like a guaranteed A. Unless you plan on teaching yourself EVERYTHING, I recommend staying far away

He is a pretty cool guy, with an interesting sense of humor. If you're good at this subject then I think you're set. However, his tests and quizzes are rather challenging. Homework is easy you get two tries. The one benefit of this class is that he offers alot of points through the paper, projects and homework etc which is all easy

Mr. Jones class is hard because he loves to ramble about random things. You will need to study hard from the book to get an A. I took his class my first semester at COD and read every chapter to get an A. Tests are hard, but there are crazy curves.

BEST TEACHER. He loves to tell stories, but they tend to be funny/related to the lesson. He doesn't demand much attendance. The first two tests have mult choic and free resp. He "curves." Adds mult choice and free resp (no averaging) Easy A in this class. Online hw, very boring, but he derives his test from them.

GIve him a break. Lots of experience and knowledge. The stories may be too much for some people, but I found them fun. Take notes with a partner and ask questions about what is not clear (handwriting or subject material). I loved this class and economics as a whole.

If your in this class I am sorry. Mr. Jones will not teach you economics. He will stand there and tell you stories all class. I got an A only because I read every chapter assigned and took very detailed notes on my own. The only reason I would take him is if your a genius who only shows up on tests days and gets A's

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! he is incredibly boring, you learn nothing, his handwriting is impossible to read, you basically have to teach everything yourself because he is so confusing, he rarely stays on track, talks about his wife more than econ. Not a good teacher AT ALL!

only take a course by this professor if you can handle teaching yourself and relying solely on your textbook. There is practically no legitimate instruction.

PROS time goes by quickly with the stories he tells (and the stories are relevant to topics), he teaches well (great clarity and gives good examples. now the CONS bad handwriting. TIPS TO SURVIVE if you are looking for an easy A, look elsewhere. he says what he writes word for word, so be ready to take notes. LEARN THE MATERIAL! and read the book!!

Haha, Mr. Jones is a funny teacher. Homework is on MyEcon Lab, so you will need the book. He makes up these insane scholarly quizzes though. I swear to god, they are the hardest son of b@$% But he makes up for it with his curve. Overall, probably the most credible teacher you will find. You can get the grade you want as long as you do what he wants

Hard to understand, does more talking about him/his travels than Economics. Horrible handwriting, hard to take notes. Walked into class twice, put on a Youtube video and walked out. Spouts off his political beliefs in the classroom(hate that). Never said when anything was due so you would show up even tho your didn't really learn anything. Ugh
