At first prof Henderson does come off as very intimidating. And I did struggle at first. But then I decided to put the effort into the class. What I liked about her was that she did not baby students. If you did the homework you passed simple as that. Homework was long but as long as you did some of it that was fine. She gives so much extra credit

Prof Henderson is passionate and an excellent teacher, anyone that is writing a negative comment was just not willing to put the work in to learn the material. Math is not easy! Prof Henderson is an amazing professor, take her if you want to learn.

I took her for Pre calc but I could not handle the class. 100% of your grade is based off of tests, she does give extra credit quizzes but, if the majority of the class fails 3 of the quizzes the extra credit quizzes go away. I did not enjoy the class; atmosphere just wasn't nice. Got mad at the class a lot, but maybe that's our fault, I dont know.

Professor Henderson was one of the greatest professors to get. She is very tough, but fair when it comes to grading. She wants you to succeed. She gives out extra credit quizzes, they help a lot. Her tests are similar to HW, so it is reccomended you do the HW even though it isnt graded. Loved her style of teaching and would take her again

Professor Henderson is great. She is tough but fair, and she is tough, because if you don't put in the work, you aren't making it through the class, and she really just wants you to succeed.

She might have a type crazy personality but she is a very GREAT teacher, and knows HOW to teach unlike many other math teachers. I would definitely take her again and I would recommend her to any student who is not good in math.

This professor was awful. Most professors want their students to be confident in participating, well make sure you know the correct answer before you raise your hand. She will make you feel so stupid in front of the entire class. If you don't do your homework, get ready to be given the dirtiest look and have it announced to the entire class.

She is a pretty great teacher, she loves math and sometimes gets really mad if the students don't understand what she is explaining, but she goes over everything. Homework every class, she doesn't grade it, but expects you to do it bc its good review for the test. Usually gives a small quiz every week, but it counts as extra credit and cant hurt u

She is one tough lady! I had to teach myself, I might as well done that and save money. She does not do make ups or freebies. If you are good at math, great, if you love math but have difficulty look else where so you wont risk disappointment, but if you don't good luck. Also LOOK AT THE PDFs. Calculating the times she said this harder than chap5.2

I adore Mrs. Henderson. She is great. I'm terrible at math but she really breaks it down for you until you understand it. If there's another math class that she's going to be teacher, I will be taking her! She's energetic, and always comes to class with a smile on her face and ready to teach. She gives me hope that I can and will do better.

If you are good at math, you will be fine, if you need extra help understanding the problems, then look elsewhere. Henderson knows her stuff but she does not give that many examples for problems, and goes over homework problems very little. Found her class extremely difficult, felt like I was teaching myself almost all the time and nearly failed.

Do not take this class. Save your GPA and your time. I am very good at math and still could not do decent in this class at all. She does not care about your questions or what you have to say. She is incredibly rude and heartless. Tests are absolutely impossible I honestly felt as if I learned nothing in class no matter how hard I tried.

Loved her teaching style. She explains concepts so that they're easy to comprehend and prepares you very well for the exams. Offers much extra credit and definitely buy the book because that's where hw comes from. She's the reason why I switched to be a math major. Can't say enough great things about her as a professor. Wish I could take her again!

Professor Henderson was amazing. If you're any good at math and actually care about your grade, she really is there to help you! I took her for an 8 am and actually loved her class, she gives a TON of extra credit so you can't use any excuses! homework is optional, however it really helps you understand what you're learning in class

If you are a genius in math, great take her. If you aren't good you will have your whole grade riding on her insanely hard tests. She makes them as hard as possible. She talks to students in a disrespectful, condescending manner and laughs when someone asks a question or wrong answer. Even if you put in the work she doesn't care! Her voice....

I 100% recommend her. She coo-coo in the head when she wants to be, but she is super helpful outside that classroom. She is far more better than any other professor out there for math. I took her for Math 191 and passed. Her extra credit is online, and she gives out helpful tips to help us figure out the answers. She is a B+ to a A

Professor Henderson is a bit intimidating at first but she has a good heart under the tough-act. She's very caring and willing to work with her students to help them. I would definitely recommend her as long as your willing to put in the work at home to match what she does in class. Overall, I would absolutely take her again for any math class.

There is extra credit by web assign, so do not say she does not give extra credit. She is a very down to earth woman behind her goofiness. She is a tough math professor, but she does try her best to explain.
